"We are in total disagreement about what was announced by the president, since most of the companies respect the laws and if it is found that one of them has committed a crime, they are punished," commented in an interview, the president of the CMIC, Eduardo Ramírez Loyal.
“We do not agree that an industry that generates so much employment, payment of taxes, and development is generalized and stigmatized, the production chain is enormous. It does not seem correct to us that from the Executive branch it is generalized that all companies do this type of wrongdoing, there may be some, and we ask that it be sanctioned ”, added the manager.

On the weekend, the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador , commented that in the past construction companies were good at stealing, because what in their ranks they had more lawyers than engineers

The president of CMIC, Eduardo Ramírez Leal, asked that if construction companies are found to have stolen they be punished, as well as officials involved in these criminal acts.
