Instead of changing the remote url in .git/config, you can clone by replacing github.com with the host like so: git clone git@github.com-activehacker:activehacker/gfs.git gfs_jexchan. This will automatically set the remote url in .git/config to use the ssh host, so no need to manually edit after cloning.
