Adam Sandler reunites with IHOP host who turned him away

TODAY 11 May, 2021 - 09:41am 10 views

Last month, a video of the actor went viral because it showed him politely leaving an IHOP after the host, who didn't recognize him, told him the wait was 30 minutes. On Monday, the 54-year-old made an epic return to the restaurant.

The host, Dayanna Rodas, recently posted another TikTok video that shows pictures of her and Sandler together, as well as other photos from Monday's event that IHOP hosted in Long Island, New York, in response to the Sandler debacle.

"Couldn’t have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler!" she captioned the post.

Sandler also took to Twitter to express his excitement, writing "Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday."

Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday

In Rodas' original post from late April, which showed security camera footage of Sandler walking out of the restaurant, she asked him to come back to the restaurant in her caption.

For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes.

It turns out IHOP took Sandler's light-hearted reply pretty seriously and decided to entice the actor to come back. In a response to his tweet, the company wrote, "You know what, @AdamSandler, you may be onto something here. In your honor, we’d like to declare May 10th, 2021 #MilkshakeMonday at IHOP. More sweet details to follow."

You know what, @AdamSandler, you may be onto something here. In your honor, we’d like to declare May 10th, 2021 #MilkshakeMonday at IHOP. More sweet details to follow.

The restaurant followed up with another tweet announcing that they'd be hosting a milkshake Monday event in Long Island on May 10, which is where he and Rodas got to hang out.

In addition to selling all-you-can-drink milkshakes at IHOP's 19 Long Island locations on Monday, the chain also said it would donate $1 (up to $50,000) to the organization Comedy Gives Back for every milkshake purchased across the country on May 10. Comedy Gives Back has been helping struggling comedians who have lost income during the pandemic. Sandler was a headliner at Comedy Gives Back's Laugh Aid livestream event in 2020.

A comedy icon (we can’t mention for legal reasons) has come up with a lot of sweet ideas over the years, but all-you-can-drink milkshakes takes the shake. Drink up Long Island, because it’s officially #MilkshakeMonday. All proceeds go to @ComedyGivesBack #YouKnowWhoWeMean

Now that Sandler and Rodas have met in person, we bet she'll definitely recognize him the next time he stops in!

Adam Sandler reunites with IHOP employee who went viral on TikTok 11 May, 2021 - 06:40pm

Adam Sandler and the IHOP worker who went viral on TikTok for unknowingly turning the former Saturday Night Live star away have reunited.

Sandler and the IHOPer, Dayanna Rodas, were pictured together in a photo montage on her TikTok on Monday, following their viral saga's multiple turns.

"Couldn't have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler!" Rodas captured the series of pics showing them both masked and posing near tables of milkshakes.

The tale started late last month when Rodas shared a video on TikTok showing her with a clown face filter for telling Sandler and his daughter there was a 30-minute wait when they came into IHOP in Manhasset, N.Y., for some grub. The fam, who were captured on what looked to be security footage, left rather than wait. Rodas eventually figured out it was Sandler under the mask, so she pleaded in her social post for the Uncut Gems star to "pleeeease come back."

Amazingly, Sandler actually replied on Twitter, joking that he only left because the "all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes" (and not due to the half-hour wait).

In another syrupy twist, IHOP took inspiration from the actor and comedian's tweet and branded this past Monday, May 10, as "Milkshake Monday." The pancake house pledged to donate up to $1 per milkshake sold (up to $50,000) to the Comedy Gives Back organization. (Sandler previously supported the org by performing as part of Laugh Aid in 2020, which helped comics impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.) In another nod to Sandler, the restaurant chain offered all-you-can-drink milkshakes at its 19 Long Island restaurants.

And, as the photos show, Sandler actually came to the event, even bringing one of his beloved bulldogs.

"Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday," the Funny People star wrote, sharing a photo of his pooch near a sign that had a heart and his nickname, "Sandman." No word though on how many milkshakes Sandler consumed.

Adam Sandler returned to LI IHOP for 'Milkshake Monday'

Newsday 11 May, 2021 - 05:36pm

Comedian Adam Sandler on Monday returned to the busy IHOP on Northern Boulevard in Manhasset where, unrecognized, he was unable to get a table last month, reuniting with the host whose TikTok video of him leaving went viral.

"Yesterday was so exciting!! Got to meet him … again," wrote the teen host, Dayanna Rodas, on Instagram Tuesday, captioning two photos of herself posing with Sandler, plus one photo of her alongside fellow IHOP employees and one of Sandler's pet bulldogs. Aside from promoting good will, the comedy star's visit helped support a charitable initiative for comedians whose income was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sandler, 54, had gone to that IHOP with one of his two daughters last month, and nonchalantly left after Rodas, who did not recognize him, informed the star of a 30-minute wait for a table. Belatedly realizing it was Sandler, Rodas posted a TikTok video with security footage of him leaving, which garnered more than 2.3 million likes.

After Sandler jokingly tweeted in response days later, "For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes," the diner chain announced a promotion in which 19 Long Island locations offered that very deal on Monday. As well, a portion of all IHOP milkshake sales nationwide benefited the nonprofit charitable group Comedy Gives Back.

"This was a fun and unexpected viral visit that brought delicious joy and laughter to our guests this past week," IHOP spokesperson Candice Jacobson said Tuesday in a statement to Newsday. "As a cherry on top of the already sweet occasion, we were thrilled to have our honored guest enjoy Milkshake Monday. We look forward to welcoming him and all our fans back any time to enjoy all our menu offerings."

"Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday," tweeted Sandler — the star of "Uncut Gems" (2019) and of numerous comedy hits including "50 First Dates" (2004) and "The Wedding Singer" (1998).

IHOP on Monday had posted on social media: "A comedy icon (we can't mention for legal reasons) has come up with a lot of sweet ideas over the years, but all-you-can-drink milkshakes takes the shake. Drink up Long Island, because it's officially #MilkshakeMonday. All proceeds go to @ComedyGivesBack #YouKnowWhoWeMean."

Couldn’t have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler! ##fyp ##ihop ##milkshakemonday ##adamsandler ##awesome ##viral

Some stars go viral for their latest film release or a new chart-topping album, but all Adam Sandler has to do is walk into his local IHOP and ask for a milkshake. "Not realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him its a 30min wait and him ofc leaving bc hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP [sic]," IHOP hostess Dayanna Rodas captioned the now-viral TikTok video of Adam waiting for a table at the restaurant with his daughters. "Pleaseee come back."

With over 11.4 million views, the video had viewers wondering how Dayanna didn't recognize the award-winning actor. "Everyone's asking how I didn't recognize him, because he had a big beard," she said. "I've never seen Adam Sandler with a beard, and the mask didn't help." A few days later, Adam clarified that he wasn't turned away but that he left in search of a milkshake. "For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes," he wrote in a tweet on May 3.

To celebrate the viral moment, IHOP recently hosted its first official Milkshake Monday promotion, offering all-you-can-drink milkshakes across all of its Long Island, NY, locations, and you bet Adam showed up. "Couldn't have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler!" Dayanna captioned a video slideshow on TikTok after being reunited with the guest of honor, who showed up in a comfy pair of UGG boots. "Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday," Adam captioned his own Instagram post, which featured a picture of a bulldog under a sign that read "IHOP [hearts] Sandman."

For every milkshake purchased nationwide on Monday, the restaurant pledged to donate $1, up to $50,000, to Comedy Gives Back, a charity that's provided support and resources for comedians during the COVID-19 pandemic. So it looks like more good came out of the viral TikTok moment than we thought! Relive the thrilling Adam Sandler IHOP saga ahead.

Adam Sandler Finally Returns To IHOP After Being Turned Away 11 May, 2021 - 03:35pm

Buckle up, this requires more context than most Adam Sandler movies. At the end of April a TikTok went viral showing the movie star and comedian trying to get a table at an IHOP. After being told there would be a half hour wait, Sandler and his family left, but the hostess realized later that the man behind the mask who turned and walked out was the Hubie Halloween star until it was too late. The story has a happy update though as Sandler and Dayanna Rodas, who caused the story to go viral through her TikTok video, met up earlier this week when Sandler returned to the restaurant.

About a week after the incident went viral, Sandler responded to it on Twitter by writing: "For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes." Turns out that's how they got him to return as E! Online brings word that Sandler came back to the Long Island IHOP on Monday, May 10 when they had a "Milkshake Monday" event in tribute to him. Rodas posted another TikTok of his return, showing off the many, many milkshakes they made for his triumphant return.

Couldn’t have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler! ##fyp ##ihop ##milkshakemonday ##adamsandler ##awesome ##viral

In addition to some all-you-can-drink milkshakes to mark the Sandman's return, E! notes "a portion of nationwide milkshake proceeds was donated to nonprofit organization Comedy Gives Back."

Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday

Sandler's milkshake consumption is the first step into his next big movie project, his latest in his many collaborations with streamer Netflix. Though best known for his raunchy four-quadrant comedies and sometimes dabbling in dramatic roles that often put him in awards contention, Sandler will cross the streams as it were for his next movie, the drama The Spaceman of Bohemia, based on Jaroslav Kalfar’s novel of the same name. Emmy-winning Chernobyl director Johan Renck has been tapped to helm the feature which has Colby Day writing the adaptation.

Netflix and Sandler's Happy Madison Productions are in the midst of an extended first look deal. Since the premiere of Ridiculous 6, the first of Sandler's projects for Netflix, back in 2015, Netflix users have watched more than two billion hours of Sandler content in the years since.

Adam Sandler returns to IHOP to bookend seating saga

Wonderwall 11 May, 2021 - 02:17pm

In late April, the comedian went to an IHOP in Long Island, New York, but left after being told it was a 30 minute wait. The hostess who told Adam about the wait time didn't recognize him until after he left. A video of her interaction with Adam — which the hostess posted to TikTok — went viral.

"For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes," Adam tweeted afterward, which gave IHOP an idea.

On May 10, the restaurant did an all-you-can-eat milkshake promotion and donated some of the proceeds to Comedy Gives Back.

Upon hearing this, Adam went back to IHOP to meet the viral hostess who started the whole saga. Naturally, she posted several images with the comedy star to her TikTok.

"Couldn't have been more excited!!" she wrote. "Thank you Adam Sandler!"

Adam also shared a photo of his bulldog outside of IHOP under a table full of shakes.

Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday

"Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday," he captioned the Twitter picture.

One of Bachelor Nation's favorite couples is making it official: Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick are engaged.

Kaitlyn announced the news on Instagram on May 11, posting a series of images of her huge diamond ring.

"Don't pinch me," she captioned the images.

Jason also posted several images, one of which shows him popping the question, which occurred while his new fiance was recording her "Off the Vine" podcast.

"Choosing your forever is the most important decision in the world, @kaitlynbristowe you made that decision so easy!," he wrote alongside the images. "Love you to death and forever."

Jason and Kaitlyn both shared a video of the moment on their Instagram Stories — the footage shows Kaitlyn excitedly asking, "Are you kidding me with that thing!" as her beau put the ring on her finger.

The former "Dancing With The Stars" winner told ET of the moment, "It was everything I could have asked for. The words that came out of his mouth were insanely beautiful. We've never locked eyes like that in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I was listening to his every word, but still blacked out."

Kaitlyn, who starred as "The Bachelorette" on season 11, was shocked at a proposal.

"Jason's like, 'Kaitlyn, we're not doing a podcast.' And I'm like, 'You forgot to hit record, didn't you!'" she told ET. "He was like, 'No, this is something else,' and he got up and I saw him bring out a ring box from the drawer."

The couple was first linked in January 2019 after he appeared on her "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast. The romance came after she and Shawn Booth split and called off their engagement in November 2018.

Jason appeared on Becca Kufrin's season of "The Bachelorette."

Tom Cruise still has no regrets about his viral tirade last year on the set of "Mission: Impossible 7."

In December, The Sun leaked audio of the action star laying into crew members on the set of "Mission: Impossible 7" for violating COVID-19 protocols.

"I don't ever want to see it again. Ever! And if you don't do it, you're fired, and I see you do it again, you're [expletive] gone," he screamed. The movie star, who's also a producer on the film, noted how important following mitigation rules was from a financial standpoint.

"You can tell it to the people who are losing their [expletive] homes because our industry is shut down. It's not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That's what I sleep with every night," he said. "So I'm sorry. I am beyond your apologies. I have told you, and now I want it, and if you don't do it, you're out."

Now, more than four months after the rant, Tom is sticking to his guns.

"I said what I said," he told Empire. "There was a lot at stake at that point … But it wasn't my entire crew. I had the crew leave the set, and it was just select people."

Filming "never shut down again" after his rant, Tom said. "And here we are, continuing to film."

Like all movies, "Mission: Impossible 7" filming was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it was also one of the first movies to return to production. In the viral tirade, Tom yelled that the set needed to be the "gold standard" of safely filming.

"All those emotions were going through my mind," he recalled of returning to filming. "And for the whole crew to know that we'd started rolling on a movie was just a huge relief … It was very emotional."

The interview comes as Tom is also making news for his protest against the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the organization that votes on and produces the Golden Globe awards. On May 10, reports said the actor returned his three Golden Globe trophies to call attention to the lack of diversity within the HFPA. He, like many celebrities, is demanding meaningful change.

Colin Farrell and his ex-girlfriend have filed a conservatorship for their son James, who has been diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome.

Legal documents obtained by The Blast show that the actor and model Kim Bordenave filed a joint petition for a conservatorship over James, which would give them the ability to make medical decisions and care for him after he turns 18 and becomes an adult in September.

Colin and Kim claim that James needs assistance for daily activities, such as getting dressed or making meals.

The ex-couple is lockstep in their request to be able to give medical consent for James, find him proper housing and have access to the teen's confidential records. They claim they need to be able to continue to care for James as if he were a minor.

A note from James' doctor was also included in the filing, and it notes that the boy is nearly incapable of attending a court hearing due to his anxiety levels. Colin, meanwhile, said he's confident that James would want his parents as his conservators if he were able to verbalize it.

Angelman Syndrome causes developmental delays and disabilities and affects the nervous system, according to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics. Colin has been open about his son's condition.

"I decided, after consulting with James' mother, that I wanted to talk publicly about the pride and joy I had in our son. He has enriched my life, but I don't want to minimize the trials that so many families go through: the fear, consternation, frustration, and pain," Colin once told InStyle. "We share in the smallest victories — the first words at age six or seven, being able to feed oneself at nine and getting the seizures under control. When you're the parent of a child with special needs, it's important to feel that you're not alone."

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's reportedly rekindled romance began via email and with the power of the pen.

TMZ reported that Ben began emailing Jennifer several months ago while she was in the Dominican Republic filming "Shotgun Wedding." In fact, the report states that the duo has been in contact since early February.

The actor was "loving and longing for Jen" in the emails, TMZ said.

In one of the letters, there was supposedly a reference to J.Lo's love for Ben's writing. There was even a sentence about him being able to "own her heart," the report states. The Oscar-winning actor also spoke on wishing he could be in the Caribbean with Jen.

Throughout the two-month duration of the back-and-forth emails, Ben and Jen never had any physical contact.

Jen, of course, was still engaged to Alex Rodriguez at the time of the correspondence, but their romance was on the rocks. In mid-April, Jen and A-Rod called off their engagement and split up.

Around that same time, Jen wrapped up filming of "Shotgun Wedding" and returned to her Los Angeles home. Ben was quickly seen at her house, but sources maintained that they were just friends. However, their relationship seems to be progressing beyond friendship, as they were seen vacationing together last week in Montana, where Ben owns a home.

Ben and Jen famously dated in the early aughts and got engaged in 2002. "Bennifer" — as they were dubbed by the media and fans — later split in 2004 and called off their engagement.

Onlookers who saw the duo in Montana said they looked very much like a couple.

Interestingly, Ben recently gushed about Jennifer in InStyle Magazine's recent J. Lo cover story.

"She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I'm so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves," he said.

Another person firmly in the "Bennifer" corner? Ben's BFF Matt Damon.

"I love them both," he told "Today" on Tuesday. "I hope it's true."

John Mulaney and his wife of six years, Anna Marie Tendler, are pulling the plug on their marriage.

The comedian's rep confirmed the news to Page Six, saying, "John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work."

John reportedly asked for a divorce three months ago around the time he left rehab in late February after a 60-day stay.

"I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage," Anna said via a spokesperson. "I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery."

John and Anna reportedly met in the late 2000s at Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. They married in July 2014.

"July 5, 2014. On a beautiful and perfect day, I married a beautiful and perfect woman. I wish I could live it over and over again," he captioned a stunning wedding day photo, which was posted to Instagram.

Over the years John gushed about Anna on social media, as well. In 2019, he called Anna "the coolest, kindest, funniest, weirdest, most beautiful, most artistically inspiring person I have ever met."

Last December, just before Christmas, John checked himself into a rehab facility in Pennsylvania for alcohol and cocaine addiction, reports said at the time.

The former "Saturday Night Live" star has spoke of his vices in the past, telling Esquire in 2019 that he began drinking at 13 years old "for attention." He eventually moved into harder drugs.

"I never liked smoking pot. Then I tried cocaine, and I loved it," he said. "I wasn't a good athlete, so maybe it was some young male thing of This is the physical feat I can do. Three Vicodin and a tequila and I'm still standing. Who's the athlete now?"

In his 2012 Comedy Central special "New In Town," John spoke more about his addictions.

"I don't drink. I used to drink, then I drank too much, and I had to stop," he said. "That surprises a lot of audiences, because I don't look like someone who used to do anything."

Big rumors are flying in Big Sky Country.

Over the weekend, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were reportedly spotted together in Montana at the Big Sky Resort near the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Additionally, they were reportedly seen driving around together in the area, where Ben owns a home.

The source told TMZ that that duo — once famously dubbed "Beniffer" — looked very much like a couple while in Montana.

The former couple has been linked of late, as Ben's reportedly hung out at Jen's Los Angeles home several times since her split with Alex Rodriguez.

TMZ says Ben and Jen took an SUV together back to her house after they returned home from Montana via a private jet.

A source told People magazine, "[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It's all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy."

Ben and Jen famously dated in the early aughts and got engaged in 2002. They later split in 2004 and called off their engagement. Similarly, Jen was engaged to Alex Rodriguez, but she confirmed in mid-April that they split and ended their engagement.

A source close to Jen and Ben recently denied that anything romantic was occurring, claiming they've been longtime friends.

"They are friends … they've never not been," a source told Page Six last week.

Brielle Biermann's ever-changing looks have nothing to do with plastic surgery, but rather age, she claims.

The 24-year-old appeared on the "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" after show on May 9 and denied that she's gone under the knife to enhance her looks.

"They don't realize that you look different when you're 10 years old to 24. I hope I look… different," she said while claiming viewers think she's had "a lot of plastic surgery."

The reality TV star has admitted to getting lip fillers over the years, but nothing more. Back in 2018, she again denied having plastic surgery.

"My face is fat right now I'm thicker than I usually am can all of u seriously f– off," she wrote on Instagram. "It's my face if I wanna get 37 surgeries on it I will!!"

Brielle has spent more than half her life on the screen, making her reality TV debut in 2010 when her mom, Kim Zolciak Biermann, appeared on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Her family later got its own reality show called "Don't Be Tardy," which was canceled last week after eight seasons.

"The Biermann family is extremely grateful for their 13-year-plus relationship with Bravo and NBC Universal," Kim said in a statement on behalf of her family. "We greatly appreciate and value the support from all of our fans as we continue to grow in the entertainment industry. In times of significant growth, there are steps that have to be strategically taken, but rest assured, you will see the Biermann family on your TV screens again very soon. Grab yourself a glass of wine and stay tuned."

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have a bond that simply can't be broken.

"There's something that really does connect us — even our handwriting," the actress told Drew Barrymore this week of her husband of 21 years.

She added, "It's like if we go to restaurants — well, before Covid we used to go to restaurants — and if we were in a big, long [dinner with] family or friends … it could be 20 people or 24 people, we always like to mix. We never like to [sit] next to each other when we go to dinner parties because we want to talk to other people. And so if Michael is down one end of the table and I'm down the other, you can guarantee we are ordering the same appetizer, main course and dessert."

Catherine, 51, and Michael, 76, are about to experience the first major change in their lives in a while.

"Michael and I are just about to become empty nesters, and that term for me is like so cold. What do you mean empty nesters? They are not going anywhere. They are just going off to school," she said.

Clearly, the "Chicago" star is proud of her children: Dylan, 20 and Carys, 18.

"I see what both Michael and I have done — and I'm not bragging — you never know as a parent what you are going to get. The best laid plans, whatever, it's just two people come together and there is a creation and then you guide them," she said.

Carys and Dylan, Catherine said, are trying to make names of their own in Hollywood. Michael, though, has told them their famous family name would probably always hang over their heads.

"Their love of the craft of acting is so strong. … They are doing politics and history in school, but their passion is acting," Catherine said. "And they've never done anything professional, but they would like to go into acting. And you know you come from a family where your name is synonymous [with acting] — very much like Michael [was]. [They're] very similar stories where you both had to be 'the kids of.'"

Catherine's path to fame was far different, as she often had to audition for roles.

"But my kids, Michael has said to them what it is like to be 'the daughter of' in the same industry, which I guess is similar if you are in business. If you are successful in business … it's not an easy way in [for your kids]. In fact, one has to prove oneself more. So even with that deterrent, my kids are like, 'No, sorry, we still want to do it,'" the actress said. "And I've had a wonderful life being an actor, and if they get half the joy that I've had, [great]."

She added, "All I want is my kids to be happy and healthy — everything else is a bonus, right? With my children, I tried to instill those qualities the best I could. And [for] both Michael and I, the best, best joy is when we get complimented about our kids' behavior and their manners and how they are just two good, grounded kids."

See Adam Sandler Return to IHOP and Reunite With the Host Who Turned Him Away

Yahoo Entertainment 11 May, 2021 - 06:21am

After a teen IHOP host went viral last month with a TikTok video in which she admitted to turning away the comedy superstar, the pair shared some adorable photo ops on Monday, May 10. The reconnection was made possible after Adam returned to the restaurant in Manhasset, Long Island to celebrate its "Milkshake Monday" tribute to him.

Dayanna Rodas posted a slideshow of pics, including a number of herself side-by-side with the Sandman. She added the caption, "Couldn't have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler!"

Both of them wore "IHOP" masks and were gathered in honor of the restaurant chain's charity promotion, in which IHOP restaurants in the Long Island, N.Y. area offered all-you-can-drink milkshakes. Additionally, a portion of nationwide milkshake proceeds was donated to nonprofit organization Comedy Gives Back.

The promotion was cooked up after the 54-year-old Grown Ups star took to social media on Monday, May 3 to respond to Dayanna's viral video from April 25. Her post showed him and his daughter exiting the IHOP after they were informed of a 30-minute wait for a table.

"For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes," Adam tweeted.

On May 10, he posted a photo of his pet pooch looking quite satisfied while standing outside of the restaurant. "Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday," the actor wrote.

In her initial TikTok post on April 25, Dayanna appeared with a clown face as she shared security-camera footage showing her brief exchange with Adam, who she admitted to not recognizing.

"Pleaseee come back," she wrote. "Not realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him its a 30min wait and him ofc leaving bc hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP."

In a later post explaining why she didn't recognize the star, she said she'd "never seen Adam Sandler with a beard," not to mention that "the mask didn't help."

Rogen responded saying that he “despises abuse and harassment” and would never “cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that.” He also said that he has not worked with Franco in a while and does not plan to do so.

Kyle Richards is known to host over-the-top gatherings for her family members, so for Mother's Day, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom's daughters ensured she had the most incredible celebration at home. "Such a beautiful Mother's Day with family," Alexia Umansky captioned an Instagram Story video showing the group eating chicken, salad, asparagus, pasta, corn, and more delicious food in their idyllic backyard. As seen in a video from Alexia earlier in the day, the family also enjoyed bagels with cream cheese, lox, onion, tomato, cucumber, and capers. In addition to eating in the gorgeous outdoor space (which you can check out in the video above), some of the family members also got plenty of use out of their epic backyard tree swing. For the special day, Kyle's kids also gifted her dozens of vibrant flowers. Farrah Aldjufrie gave a close look at the gorgeous florals in addition to a balloon featuring the text "Best Mom Ever" placed atop the family's chic home bar. In her own Instagram Story, Kyle showed off some of the flowers and added text reading, "Grateful" and "Living My Best Life." All of you teach me so much every day and I am eternally grateful. You are my favorite people in the entire world and you make this world a better place! You are my everything." Daily Mail 10 May, 2021 - 10:37pm

Adam Sandler gave IHOP a shout out on Monday after attending their all-you-can-drink milkshake event that the restaurant chain created in his honor.

'Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday' the actor wrote on Twitter with a picture of his bulldog Bagel licking his lips after a tasty treat at the event.

Sandler went viral last month after an IHOP employee revealed her embarrassment at not recognizing the Blended actor when he asked for a table at a very busy Long Island location.

Approved: Adam Sandler gave a thumbs up to IHOP after it created Milkshake Monday in his honor. He shared a photo of his dog Bagel at the event next to a table of shakes

A TikTok video showed the 54-year-old Just Go With It actor leaving the restaurant after the hostess told him it would be a 30-minute wait for a table for Sandler and his daughter.

In response to the post, Sandler jokingly wrote on Twitter that it wasn't the wait that made him leave the restaurant, but the lack of all-you-can-eat choices.

'For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes.' the Hollywood star wrote on May 3.

It didn't take the breakfast chain long to seize on the opportunity to please the movie star as they tweeted back the next day: 'You know what, @AdamSandler, you may be onto something here. In your honor, we’d like to declare May 10th, 2021 #MilkshakeMonday at IHOP. More sweet details to follow.'

Later on IHOP clarified that the Milkshake Monday would only take place at its 19 Long Island locations from 12pm to 8pm on Monday, May 10.

Nationwide, the company marked the day by donating $1 to the nonprofit Comedy Gives Back for every milkshake sold, up to $50,000.

The whole IHOP debacle came to light when hostess Dayanna Rodas posted a video on TikTok, calling herself a clown after she failed to recognize Sandler and told him it would be a 30minute wait for a table.

Dayanna uploaded a security camera shot of Sandler and his daughter interacting with uniform-clad hostess briefly before politely leaving.

She wrote on top: 'Not realizing it's Adam Sandler and telling him it's a 30 minute wait and him ofc leaving because he's not going to wait 30 minutes for IHOP.'

The video was captioned: 'Pleaseee come back #comedy #fyp #foryou #viral #adamsandler' set to the song Be A Clown by Osuna.

She also took to TikTok the following day, sharing a screen grab from a Daily Dot story about her video, adding, 'I didn't think it was gonna go viral.'

Sandler's publicist confirmed to The Huffington Post that it was Sandler in the video, but did not provide any further details.

Many viewers commended both Dayanna for not giving Sandler the celebrity special treatment, and Sandler for not expecting special treatment and leaving politely.

'At least he didn’t use his fame to rush anything,' one person commented while another added, 'I used to serve him regularly.'

Another person with experience serving Sandler said, 'Never served a nicer person,' while another added, 'And he didn’t pull the celebrity card either.'

Other commenters said the worker did the right thing by treating him just like a 'regular person.'

Nice guy: Since the post went viral numerous people spoke out revealing the actor is known for being polite to servers. Sandler is seen here in February 2020
