August's First PS Plus Game Confirmed As Hunter's Arena: Legends
Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 5 Coming July 13, And Here's What It Does
Leading the charge are a huge list of weapon balance updates that are being done with the explicit goal of increasing the average time-to-kill, or TTK, in Warzone. Many of Call of Duty: Warzone's weapons will now do less damage from headshots and shots to the torso, while other weapons are receiving nerfs to their maximum damage output.

"The following changes are our first major step towards increasing the average Time-to-Kill within Warzone," developer Raven Software writes in the game's patch notes. "It is important to note these Weapon adjustments were not made in a vacuum. When evaluating an individual change, some may seem quite drastic, but they were made holistically and in a way that supported a lock-step increase in average TTK across multiple Weapon categories. Torso Multipliers were a considerable focus of these changes with how often they would act as a flat damage increase given how consistently that location could be hit. With reductions to these multipliers, we are placing a bigger emphasis on precision--a move which we feel is ultimately healthy for the game."
Raven goes on to say that there will always be a weapon players consider to be "the best," but that it is its job to make sure that the "best weapon" never overstays its welcome and has "effectiveness that scales with the user."
"Conversely, there are also a great deal of players who prefer a myriad of options to choose from," Raven writes. "Our goal is to provide exactly that. We will continue to compress outliers, both over and underperforming, until each Weapon is viable at the very least. We do not want players to feel they are at a distinct disadvantage for not conforming to the generally accepted 'best weapon'."
The update also brings with it a new limited-time mode in the form of Blueprint Blitz, where players can earn permanent Weapon Blueprints, and also Payload, the first-ever objective-based game mode for Warzone that pits two teams of 20 against each other as they escort a caravan of vehicles through a series of checkpoints. New weapons debuting with the update include the OTs 9 submachine gun, as well as a new Mace melee weapon. Dirt bikes are seeing some improvements as well, like the ability to perform sharper turns and do wheelies.
Full patch notes for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 4 Reloaded revealed the return of a Nuke killstreak, as well as the addition of a Capture the Flag mode and the paintball-themed Rush map from Black Ops 2. On the Zombie side of the equation, players are diving into the new Mauer Der Toten map.
Below are the full Warzone patch notes.
Similar to Double XP weekends, we will start activating a new special global Event where Contraband Contracts automatically spawn after you complete two regular Contracts. Contraband Contracts award you with a permanent Weapon Blueprint reward if you’re able to extract it from the DZ, in addition to tons of Cash within your current match.
Blueprint Blitz should give you the opportunity to earn plenty of Weapon Blueprints from prior seasons. If you missed out or didn’t play Warzone during the time these were originally available, Contraband Contracts award you with previous Seasonal rewards after you complete the Contract.
Note: This Event will only apply to the core BR and Plunder modes.
Warzone’s first-ever objective-based game mode - Payload - pits two teams of 20 Players against each other in a race against time. Players drop in to escort two caravans of vehicles through a series of Checkpoints or sabotage the mission. Build or destroy barriers and purchase buildings to aid in your squad’s mission, and be sure to collect any Contracts you find around Verdansk as they will help lead to success. If the attacking team escorts all vehicles across all Checkpoints within the time limit, they win the match. The defending team can not only pick attackers off the payload vehicles to slow them down, but also buy and build obstacles to stall these vehicles on the tracks. This all happens as Operators are dropping in constantly with their own custom loadouts, searching for items across Verdansk like Cash and Killstreaks to aid their team in escorting or stopping the Payloads.
Look for Payload in the upcoming Featured Playlist Rotation as part of Season Four Reloaded.
We are excited to share that we are planning the debut of two new Warzone-specific Perks. Alongside them, High Alert will also be receiving an update that allows players to hear Dead Silent footsteps.
Until then, we may see a Weapon make its long-awaited debut in Verdansk. ;)
The following new features focus on three primary areas of accessibility: Hard of Hearing, Blind/Low-Vision, and Cognitive Overload.
Non-verbal communication is a cornerstone of Warzone gameplay and we are leveraging accessibility-oriented playtesting and our Warzone Accessibility FAQ feedback form to explore improvements to our text chat features. By adding more customizability to the amount of time the text chat stays on-screen when new messages are received, we hope Players will be better supported in strategically communicating with their squad without needing to rely on external hardware, such as headphones. However, we want to avoid spamming Players with additional HUD messaging during moment-to-moment combat, so we have also added an advanced version of this feature that allows Players to choose which of their incoming messages have longer or shorter on-screen durations. In effect, Players will be able to choose to keep squad messages on-screen for longer, while quieting down things like system messages. Alternatively, for Players with disabilities related to cognitive overload, the Text Chat Behavior (Time On Screen) feature allows Players to turn off in-game text chat notifications on the HUD entirely, so that messages can be received without causing disruption or disturbance that hinders the gameplay experience.
This text chat feature improvement was also inspired by our internal accessibility-oriented playtesting and our online Warzone Accessibility FAQ feedback form. By using audio to provide a second channel of visual information communication, we hope that this option better supports Player-to-Player communication for blind and low-vision Players. Adding an audio cue helps alleviate the need for visual acuity at the periphery of the screen, where the text chat element lives. In addition, this feature will allow all Players, regardless of ability/disability, to have an indication of when new messages are received when they are away from their gaming setup, not looking at the screen, alt-tabbed out of the window, etc.!
The following changes are our first major step towards increasing the average Time-to-Kill within Warzone. It is important to note that these Weapon adjustments were not made in a vacuum. When evaluating an individual change, some may seem quite drastic, but they were made holistically and in a way that supported a lock-step increase in average TTK across multiple Weapon categories. Torso Multipliers were a considerable focus of these changes with how often they would act as flat damage increases given how consistently that location could be hit. With reductions to these multipliers, we are placing a bigger emphasis on precision — a move which we feel is ultimately healthy for the game.
Statistically, there will always be a ‘best weapon’. That is the nature of a competitive game. Players will seek out and employ any advantage they can, regardless of how miniscule it may be. We will take great care to ensure that the ‘best weapon’ never overstays its welcome and has effectiveness that scales with the skill of the handler. Conversely, there are also a great deal of players who prefer a myriad of options to choose from. Our goal is to provide exactly that. We will continue to compress outliers, both over and underperforming, until each Weapon is viable at the very least. We do not want players to feel they are at a distinct disadvantage for not conforming to the generally accepted ‘best weapon’.
We will be closely monitoring Weapon performance to ensure the game is in a healthy state following the biggest balance update in the history of Warzone.
The Season Four update will have a download size of approximately 9 GB for those who own the free-to-play Warzone and are current on the latest updates.

The Season 4 Reloaded brought plenty of things to Call of Duty: Warzone including a major change to how ziplines work in the battle royale.
Updates always bring a sense of excitement to the world of Warzone, and Season 4 Reloaded is no different, thanks to a plethora of weapon buffs and nerfs, a new Sentry Gun killstreak, and the new OTs 9 SMG.
While the above changes stole the spotlight, one major change that arrived in the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update that did not get a great deal of attention at first focused on how ziplines work in the Call of Duty battle royale.
Ziplines are one of the most important features in Warzone, as it allows players to quickly make their way up tall buildings instead of having to walk up flights of stairs.
However, only one player could use these Warzone ziplines at a time, with other players having to wait until the player before them got off of the zipline.
This limitation meant that teams trying to rush an enemy team at the top of a building would have to take much longer than they would like to get everyone in a position to attack.
Fortunately, the Season 4 Reloaded update made a significant change to how many players can use the Warzone ziplines at one time. Now, multiple players can use the ziplines at the same time. You can check this change out in action in the video below:
There is no doubt that this change has been well received by the Warzone community and is one of the bright spots of the Season 4 Reloaded update for the Call of Duty battle royale.
It will definitely make it easier for teams to assault teams camping on top of tall buildings which could be very frustrating before this change.

Here are the attachments and perks you should use to make the best Warzone Grau loadout in Season 4 of the Call of Duty battle royale.
Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone is well underway, and there are a plethora of changes to explore, including new weapons like the MG 82 LMG and C58 Assault Rifle. Some existing weapons are also in the spotlight.
The Grau Assault Rifle is still a high-performing pick for players and is on our list of the top 10 most popular Warzone weapons. The Season 4 Reloaded update brought a small buff to its maximum damage.
Here are the right attachments and perks for the best Warzone Grau loadout.
The Grau 5.56’s main strengths are its damage, accuracy, and range. This Warzone loadout will prioritize improving the firepower and minimizing the recoil of the weapon.
First, we’ll equip the Monolithic Suppressor as it will make it difficult for your enemies to locate you on the map due to the sound suppression. It will enable you to get past your foes and to get a jump on them.
This will come at the cost of decreased damage range, so we’ll correct that with the Tempus 26.4″ Archangel barrel. This also has the added benefit of improving the weapon’s already impressive firepower.
The Tac Laser will provide improved ADS speed, as victory often belongs to the player who is able to look down at his aim quicker. We’ll fix the weapon’s recoil with the Commando Foregrip so that your accuracy isn’t negatively affected.
Finally, we’ll cap off this loadout with the 60 Round Mags provide a nice buffer if you get into a heated confrontation with multiples hostiles.
Cold-Blooded is the first perk that we recommend equipping, as it will help you stay hidden from enemies. The popular Ghost perk is another great pick for stealthy tactics where you don’t your foes to see you coming.
Whereas Perk 3 bottles down to whether or not you’re playing with buddies. Tune Up is the only one you’ll really need, and it will get you revived a bit quicker. In contrast, Tracker is more of a solo project that will let you find enemies faster.
Unlocking the Grau 5.56 is easy enough, as, in Modern Warfare or Warzone, you just need to “Get 5 kills in a minute when using an Assault Rifle 25 times.”
Doing this on Modern Warfare is the recommended option. If not, land into a populated area in Warzone and get your best killing shoes on!
The Season 4 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Warzone brought some positive changes to loadouts in the Call of Duty battle royale.
The highly anticipated Season 4 Reloaded update arrived in the world of Warzone on July 14/15, and it has brought plenty of changes to shake things up in the Call of Duty battle royale including a wide range of weapon buffs and nerfs and the addition of the new OTs 9 SMG.
There were also some smaller changes made in the Season 4 Reloaded update that players may not have noticed at first such as a change to how many players can use ziplines and the way loadouts work in Warzone.
The changes that affected Warzone loadouts in the Season 4 Reloaded update were major quality of life altertaions that will no doubt make choosing and using loadouts much easier and smoother.
One of the changes is that players can now use their custom loadouts in the pre-game lobby when they are playing the regular battle royale game modes in the same way you could in Plunder.
The loadout you pick in the pre-game lobby will then be the loadout that is automatically selected when you open a loadout drop.
Some other quality of life updates in Warzone update were multiple players can use a zip lines at the same time and players can edit their loadouts during their pre-game lobby in BR.
This will stop players from having to scroll through their list of Warzone loadouts and potentially making themselves sitting ducks.
Another major change is that players can now edit their loadouts in the pre-game lobby, such as you can in the Multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which means that you can make changes right before the match without having to back out of the match and do it in the lobby.
Unfortunately, this new feature opened the door for some bugs to appear which allowed players to spawn in with their loadouts at the beginning of matches and also allowed them to have unlimited Dead Silence. Raven Software has since disabled the pre-lobby loadout selection feature for the time being to fix these issues and will add it back in at a later time.
While these are not the craziest changes to Warzone loadouts, they are definitely ones that have received a great deal of positive feedback from the Call of Duty community so far and will no doubt help make things go smoother for players in their future matches.

The Warzone Season 4 Reloaded patch notes contained a tease from the developers that may be hinting at the upcoming debut of the CX-9 SMG.
The RAAL LMG and CX-9 SMG were two Modern Warfare weapons that were secretly added to Warzone in the past before being removed and never heard from again in the battle royale or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
These weapons have been spotted in Modern Warfare recently, and their blueprints were recently found in the game’s files, so there is no doubt that they are ready to be added to the games. The only question is if they ever will be added.
However, a recent tease from Raven Software in the Season 4 Reloaded update patch notes looks to have to inject a great deal of hope for players when it comes to the CX-9 SMG making its long-awaited debut sometime in the future.
The tease that was included in the update’s patch notes from Raven Software consisted of the following statement:
“We may see a Weapon make its long-awaited debut in Verdansk. 😉”
Now, this statement in itself does not specifically point towards the Modern Warfare CX-9 SMG, but a gameplay video for the new Payload game mode coming in Season 4 Reloaded that was released by Treyarch earlier in the day on July 14 is what makes this statement seem to be talking about the CX-9.
The gameplay video in question showed off gameplay of the new Payload game mode where a character was seen using the unreleased CX-9 SMG fighting enemies. There was no official mention of the character using this unreleased weapon.
With this footage and the tease in the patch notes, it seems Raven Software and Treyarch Studios planned to make a sneaky tease of the weapon’s upcoming arrival.
There is no doubt that there will be plenty of excitement in the community if the Modern Warfare CX-9 is indeed added to Warzone, as players have been waiting a long time to see it finally make its debut.
