Blake Lively trolled her husband Ryan Reynolds again on social media.

This time she drooled over his "fine a-- arm" as the "Deadpool" actor, 44, helped move a snapping turtle that was under a car.

"Snapping turtle: pick a worse place to chill," he wrote Sunday on his Instagram Stories.

The "Gossip Girl" alum, 33, then posted a DM she sent him about the post calling it was a thirst trap because it highlighted his muscular arms.

"Are we supposed to believe this isn’t a post about your fine ass arms?" Lively posted on her own Instagram Story.

She kept up the joke by zooming in and focusing on Reynolds' bulging tricep and bicep.

The couple met while filming "Green Lantern" in 2010, married in 2012, and share three daughters together: James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, almost 2.

Reynolds recently opened up about the first time he met Lively on the SmartLess podcast with co-hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett.

"What year did Blake and her little angel wings float down onto your life?" Bateman asked.

"I met Blake on the darkest crease in the anus of the universe called 'Green Lantern'," he joked about the superhero film which was a box-office bust. "We were friends and buddies, and about a year and a half later we went on a double date but we were dating separate people."

Reynolds said they "always kind of kept in touch sort of casually."

"Next thing you know, she was going to Boston, I was going to Boston and I said, 'Well, I'll ride with you.' We got on the train and we rode together," he admitted. "I was just begging her to sleep with me."

You need to see Blake Lively's natural selfie showing off her real skin texture

cosmopolitan.com 20 July, 2021 - 05:44am

Off-duty Blake is such a strong look

Our gal Blake Lively is undoubtedly a goddess. But she has also proven time and time again that she is naaaaaht afraid to show behind the veil of hair, makeup and general glam.

Remember that time her daughter gave her a Barbie makeover and she literally shared it with her casual 29.2m followers? Or the time she shared insights into her unplucked eyebrows and matted hair to destigmatise lockdown glo-downs? Oh, and that time she shared a snap of herself with a bowl cut and stage makeup designed to make her look exhausted, and everyone thought it was a makeup-free selfie?

... And not forgetting that time she enlisted her husband Ryan Reynolds to bleach her roots, sharing a video of the situation, captioned "That time I f*d my hairdresser." Ryan responded to that bit of low-key trolling (at this part an essential element of their relationship) with his own commentary, adding:

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: Blake just dropped a pic to her Instagram stories, documenting herself rescuing a turtle baby (I know, it's adorable) - and in it she looks suuuuper fresh-faced, hair scraped back, and without a filter in sight.

And though she literally still looks like a goddess, it's so nice to see her natural skin texture, free-spirited smile and authentic glow, no?

Ryan Reynolds recalls making the first move on wife Blake Lively

The "Deadpool" actor was featured on the SmartLess podcast Monday, where he spoke to hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett about the beginnings of his relationship with the "Gossip Girl" star.

"What year did Blake and her little angel wings float down onto your life?" Bateman asked Reynolds.

"I met Blake on the darkest crease in the anus of the universe called 'Green Lantern'," he said of the two co-starring in the 2011 superhero film. "We were friends and buddies, and about a year and a half later we went on a double date but we were dating separate people."

Reynolds, 44, went on to say that the two "always kind of kept in touch sort of casually."

"Next thing you know, she was going to Boston, I was going to Boston and I said, 'Well, I'll ride with you.' We got on the train and we rode together," he continued. "I was just begging her to sleep with me."

When asked what the "first move looked like," Reynolds joked: "I would use a little bit of tear stick so I could get the tears kind of rolling … then I would tell a little sob story about my life."

Jokes aside, Reynolds described the moment he knew he and Lively, 33, had gone from casually dating to a lifelong commitment as "one those those silly moments out of a fairytale."

"A week later I was like, 'We should buy a house together,'" Reynolds added. "And we did."

Reynolds and Lively, who have been together for nearly a decade, are known for trolling each other on social media.

Last year for Reynolds' 44th birthday, Lively posted a photo on Instagram of her husband with a birthday pie, complete with pink, yellow and green candles lit up.

Lively took the opportunity to poke fun at Reynolds in the caption, writing, "1) Who is the lost soul that selects birthday PIE. 2) What ANIMAL eats their cake (pie) without first blowing out the candles. @vancityreynolds that’s who."

"Happy Birthday," Lively continued. "I honestly can’t believe we’re still married."

The couple married on Sept. 9, 2012, in South Carolina.

Reynolds and Lively share three daughters: James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, 1.

Ryan Reynolds says early days of relationship with Blake Lively were 'like out of a fairy tale'

Yahoo Entertainment 19 July, 2021 - 06:51pm

"I met Blake on the darkest crease in the anus of the universe called Green Lantern," Reynolds told Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes on Monday's episode of their podcast, SmartLess. "And we were friends and buddies and then, about a year and a half later, we actually went out on a double date, but we were dating separate people."

When they met, as Green Lantern began filming in early 2010, Reynolds was still married to Scarlett Johansson, his wife since 2008. They split in 2010. Lively was in a relationship with Penn Badgley, her co-star on Gossip Girl, for several years, also ending in 2010.

So after single Reynolds and Lively crossed paths on this double date, there was a When Harry Met Sally... situation where they fell for each other.

"We hung out and kind of, you know, we always kind of kept in touch but sort of casually. And then next thing you know, she was going to Boston. I was going to Boston. So I was like, 'I’ll ride with you,'" Reynolds said. Then he joked, "We got on the train and rode together and then I was just begging her to sleep with me."

Reynolds, who made the first move, noted that the romance moved quickly.

"Honestly, it was kind of one of those silly sort of ... like out of a fairy tale," he said. "Like a week later, I was like, 'We should buy a house together.' And we did."

Now they've been together almost a decade, which Reynolds described as "like 45 years in Hollywood terms."

The two are parents to three daughters: 6-year-old James, Inez, 4, and Betty, 1. (Taylor Swift fans already know this.)

Still, Reynolds's career has not slowed down, and he thanks Lively for that. His list of projects in the works include another installment of his Deadpool franchise (presumably the character's first full-fledged foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and a big-screen adaptation of the board game Clue

"The only reason I think I'm able to continue doing this in this way, I think, is that I'm present with my kids and my wife, and my marriage is incredibly important to me and that friendship is important to me, so I’m able to kind of get through, you know," Reynolds said. "But then Blake and I don't do movies at the same time, so [when] she’s ready to go back and do some stuff, I'll step down and then we go back and forth. She'll do a film and I'll just be with her on location, hanging with the kids."

He said that she's been especially impressive while dealing with kids and their schoolwork during the pandemic: "Blake was so much better than I was, because I'm also a child."

Ryan Reynolds Recalls Making First Move on Blake Lively: 'I Was Begging Her to Sleep with Me'

PEOPLE 19 July, 2021 - 06:16pm

On Monday, the Deadpool star appeared on the SmartLess podcast where he spoke to hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett about making the first move on Lively, 33.

"I met Blake on the darkest crease in the anus of the universe called Green Lantern," Reynolds, 44, said, of the 2011 superhero film they co-starred in. "We were friends and buddies and about a year and a half later we went on a double date but we were with dating separate people."

Reynolds said the two "hung out" and "always kind of kept in touch but casually" before they began dating.

"Next thing you know, she was going to Boston, I was going to Boston and I said, 'Well, I'll ride with you.' We got on the train and we rode together," he said. "I was just begging her to sleep with me."

When asked how quickly they went from dating to knowing they wanted a more lasting commitment, Reynolds described it as something "like out of a fairytale."

"A week later I was like, 'We should buy a house together,'" he said. "And we did."

The couple has attended red carpets together in support of each others' films, and have most notably—and hysterically!— trolled each other on social media

In May, Reynolds posted on Instagram for Mental Health Awareness Month in which he acknowledged that while the month was almost over, "One of the reasons I'm posting this so late is I overschedule myself and important things slip. And one of the reasons I overschedule myself is my lifelong pal, anxiety."

"I know I'm not alone and more importantly, to all those like me who overschedule, overthink, overwork, over-worry, and over-everything, please know you're not alone," the actor continued. "We don't talk enough about mental health and don't do enough to destigmatize talking about it."

"But, as with this post, better later than never, I hope..." Reynolds added.

In June, Reynolds told Entertainment Tonight that his three daughters inspired him to use his role as a public figure to speak out.

"Part of it is that I have three daughters at home and part of my job as a parent is to model behaviors and model what it's like to be sad and model what it's like to be anxious, or angry. That there's space for all these things," said Reynolds. "The home that I grew in, that wasn't modeled for me really. And that's not to say that my parents were neglectful, but they come from a different generation."

"Part of that is to destigmatize things and create a conversation around [mental health]," he added. "I know that when I felt at the absolute bottom, it's usually been because I felt like I was alone in something I was feeling. So I think when people talk about it, I don't necessarily dwell on it or lament on it, but I think it's important to talk about it. And when you talk about it, it kind of sets other people free."

"Other people feel like, 'Oh, he's feeling that and so am I.' And even though we might be in two completely different fields or we might have two completely different lives, it connects us in a way," the Deadpool star said. "A lot of it is just wanting to model certain things for my own kids and model things for anyone who might need to hear it."

Reynolds also admitted, "It's hard to sometimes turn one's brain off and that's a challenge for some people."

Ryan Reynolds Adorably Praises Blake Lively's Parenting Skills

Entertainment Tonight 19 July, 2021 - 05:26pm

During his recent guest appearance on the SmartLess podcast, the Deadpool 3 star opened up to hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett about the struggles he and Lively faced while parenting three young kids, daughters James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, 1, amid COVID-19 concerns.

"They had a tough time," Reynolds said, of James and Inez going to school over Zoom. "I was seeking out external help left and right. I was reading books. I was trying someway to steer the ship. Blake was so much better at it then I was because I'm also a child."

Reynolds, meanwhile, personally got by with "a lot of writing."

"I started medication practice," he revealed. "It really did help."

During another portion of the interview, Reynolds also reflected on eight years of marriage with Lively, and why they never take on big projects at the same time.

"I met Blake on the darkest crease on the anus of the universe called Green Lantern," he joked. "We were friends and buddies and about a year and half later, we went on a double date but we were dating separate people. We hung out and we always kind of kept in touch sort of casually and next thing you know, she was going to Boston. I was going to Boston and I said I'll ride with you."
