After a series of stadium-filling listening parties, Kanye West has finally released Donda to streaming services.

The long-awaited album, now spanning 26 songs, arrived on Apple Music (which live-streamed West’s Donda events) and Spotify on Sunday morning, three days after the rapper’s controversial Chicago event that recreated West’s childhood home and featured appearances by Marilyn Manson and DaBaby.

Over the three listening parties, Donda has featured guest vocalists and rappers like the Weeknd and Lil Baby (“Hurricane”), Travis Scott and Baby Keem (“Praise God”), Young Thug, the late Pop Smoke (“Tell the Vision”), Jay Electronica and the Lox (“Jesus Lord”), Kid Cudi (“Moon”), Pusha T, Roddy Ricch, Ariana Grande (“Donda”) and many more. Notably, at the third listening party, West replaced a Jay-Z verse on “Jail” with a new verse by DaBaby; however, the current streaming version of Donda reinstates Jay-Z’s appearance; “Jail” also credits Brian Warner, a.k.a. Marilyn Manson, as a co-songwriter.

Following the appearance of the new single “No Child Left Behind” in an Olympics-themed Beats ad, Donda was initially scheduled for a July 23rd release, then pushed to August 6th, then delayed August-something before its arrival on August 29th; Kanye’s longtime manager Abou “Bu” Thiam promised on social media that the album would finally be released following the Donda listening event at Soldier Field in West’s native Chicago.

While West has released Donda to streaming services, that doesn’t mean he’s done working on it or that this is the finished product; The Life of Pablo was continually tinkered with, re-uploaded and reedited following its release in 2016; in fact, after initially publishing this article, West added a 27th track, “Jail pt. 2,” though that song is apparently held up by clearance issues on DaBaby’s end, as West noted on Instagram Sunday:

James Corden gets roasted for blocking LA traffic with flash mob

Kanye West - Topic 29 August, 2021 - 09:19pm

The viral stunt involved Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, and a rat costume

Let’s get…loud? James Corden held up traffic in Los Angeles on Friday with the cast of the upcoming Cinderella remake to perform Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud” while dressed in as a giant mouse.

One particular driver at the front of the pack happened to capture the performance, and got a front row seat to Corden thrusting in the air to the beat while Camila Cabello breathlessly mouthed the words to J.Lo’s hit 1999 single. “LMFAO CAMILLA IS SO PRETTY,” the fan posted on Twitter alongside the clip, leading it to go viral with jokes, criticism, and other hilarious commentary.

“Imagine being late to work because james corden had to do hip thrusts at you in a rat costume,” one person quipped, while another wrote, “Seeing James Corden in a rat costume one more time will be the start of my villain origin story.”

The stunt, which also involved Billy Porter and Idina Menzel, appears to have been filmed for The Late Late Show with James Corden, where the talk show host has also pulled similar gags over the years with the casts of Frozen, Aladdin, The Greatest Showman, and more. (But really, how has Menzel done this more than once?)

Check out Corden’s viral hip-thrusting moment and some of the most hilarious reactions below. Meanwhile, the latest iteration of Cinderella will hit Amazon Prime on September 3rd.

Earlier this week, Corden hosted Lorde on his show for a wide-ranging chat about her new album Solar Power, cleansing herself of social media, and a performance of “California.”
