Report: First Call of Duty 2021 Images Leak Out (Update)

MP1st 11 August, 2021 - 04:33pm

While Activision has oddly not announced or mentioned anything about Call of Duty 2021 this year (and we’re in August!), it seems the first few details and more are starting to surface! It looks like the first Call of Duty 2021 image has surfaced today, though there’s not really a lot to go on.

Update #2: Activision has emailed us to take the images down. However, Reddit and other users there have uploaded it on the link here, and in these links (1, 2, 3, 4) too.

Update #3: Call of Duty: Vanguard spotted in the Black Ops Cold War Season 5 data files! Check it out here where the different editions and more have been outed!

Notable Call of Duty leaker, TheGhostOfMW, has posted alleged Call of Duty 2021 images online while tagging “Vanguard” with both. In case you didn’t know, Call of Duty: Vanguard has been rumored to be the title of this year’s Call of Duty!

Tom Henderson has also commented on these images being legit as well, given he’s started drawing it to share. Note that for Battlefield 2042, Henderson drew a lot of the stuffthat was in the leaked internal trailer that turned out to be legit.

Not only that, but it seems something COD 2021 related is set for this August 19! Not only did Tom Henderson, ModerWarzone and other reliable leakers have shared it, but we also got a message about it as well (pertaining to the date).

Note: Tom Henderson was requested by Activision to delete his tweets pertaining to Vanguard, hence why it’s a screenshot)

Same as with every rumor no matter who it comes from, treat it with a grain of salt for now. That said, these are reliable leakers, and have, for the most part, pretty much been spot-on when it comes to Call of Duty info.

If true, the wait won’t be long now, as August 19 is next week!

In other Call of Duty news, Activision has debunked the rumors about Modern Warfare 3 Remastered, so don’t get your hopes up.
