When does Destiny 2 season 15 start?

The Destiny 2 Season 15 release date should be August 24, 2021. The reason why it “should be” is that there isn't anything official yet, but what we do have is history. All previous Seasons' end dates have ushered in the beginning of the next, and Season of the Splicer finishes up on August 24. ShacknewsDestiny 2 Season 15 release date

Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer: Everything You Need to Know About the Last Override Mission

EssentiallySports 01 August, 2021 - 06:30am

Many of their battles happened during the Override missions that players can take part in. In the most recent one, they even defeated the mighty villain of Quria, Blade Transform rather easily. However, in the Epilogue of Season 14, players will have to join forces one last time in another Override mission that might heavily influence the storyline.

Destiny 2: Grandmaster Nightfall Guide for the Disgraced; Weapons, Mods, and Armor to Use

Many players recently discovered the existence of this Override mission while using the Destiny 2 Companion App. While looking for a Fireteam for an Override, Guardians can gain their first look of this mission in the Box of Ruins. It will happen in the center of the Ruins above the Scourge of the Past Raid final boss encounter location. An image of the modifiers also reveals that it will have Barrier Champions, Unstoppable Champions, Denial and Air Superiority. So it means that Guardians will have to fight off the Vex, and the Taken together.

This will all be part of the season’s last Quest titled ‘As Prophesied‘, which begins on August 10. It seems like the Quest will involve Lakshmi-2 opening a Vex portal in the Last City, and Guardians will have to fight them off and defeat the network once and for all. Many players have speculated that Quria, Blade Transform might return as the final boss. But it looks like players will have to face a new Subjugated Minotaur that looks a bit like Atheon, Time’s Conflux.

Upon completion, players will have to speak to Saint-14 and Ikora. The last part of the Epilogue which will arrive on August 17 will be called Heroes’ Memorial. This memorial will be placed to pay respects to the Fallen and the Guardians who fought to save the Last City. Upon visiting it, players will gain access to the Forbidden Memory Exotic ship and an Ascendant Shard. This will conclude Season of the Splicer in Destiny 2.

Players have already gained access to this Override by Sparrow breaching the floor. This will allow them to see the entire layout of this mission and know a bit about the challenges they will have to face when it arrives soon. It seems like Bungie has prepared a grand finale for Season of the Splicer and fans can’t wait to try it out.

Destiny 2 Season 15: Crossplay Details, Stasis Weapons, and Exciting New Content Coming Our Way

EssentiallySports 31 July, 2021 - 07:51am

Fans can expect a lot of massive shakeups in the game’s various departments including weapons, modes and many more. Fans will have a lot of new content to go through and it seems like Bungie is massively overhauling the gameplay to improve the experience for the fans. Here are some of the biggest content additions in Destiny 2 this upcoming season.

Destiny 2: Grandmaster Nightfall Guide for the Disgraced; Weapons, Mods, and Armor to Use

The developers at Bungie will have some major news about the upcoming season during the Destiny 2 Showcase. This includes the addition of crossplay, announced months ago. Recently, they have tested it with some players in the game, and it will officially arrive in Season 15. Over the course of this year, Bungie will rollout all the crossplay features of the game.

Along with that, we might also see the return of the Moments of Triumph event this year as players wait for the Witch Queen Expansion, set to arrive early next year. Other than that, events like the Festival of the Lost will also make a triumphant return. The Dawning may return as well if Destiny 2 will have an extended Season 15 till the impending arrival of the game’s next expansion.

Additionally, Vanguard will also undergo some major tweaking in Season 15. The developers revealed in a recent This Week At Bungie post that it will now follow the Crucible and Gambit ranking system. It also stated that Trials of Osiris will also be integrated with this system later in the season. Other than that, the developers will also improve the Armor Synthesis system as well with the removal of Synthstrands.

Following the release of Beyond Light, the developers have added Stasis weapons to the game. There hasn’t been a lot of them and Season 15 will change that with the addition of new weapons with the Stasis Elemental damage. Along with that, Bungie will also fix a major issue of players three-peeking to see around walls in the Crucible. Until now, players used emotes and Swords to see other players and it will receive a fix first in modes like Trials.

There will be massive Sandbox changes as well with tweaks to many of the players’ favorite exotics. Meta weapons like the Anarchy will receive a heavy nerf which should excite fans to try out new things. The Light subclass will also receive some changes similar to the one Stasis got in Season of the Splicer. With buffs to this subclass, players will be encouraged to try them out over Stasis.

Destiny 2 will have some massive changes when Season 15 drops on August 24. It remains to be seen how drastically the game will change with these tweaks. But, it looks like fans will have a lot of content to go through even though they might have to wait a long time for the Witch Queen expansion.
