When is Eevee Community Day 2021?

We're excited to announce that Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon, will be featured during August's Community Day event—which will span two days instead of just one! And that's not all: when you evolve Eevee into any of its Evolutions from Friday, August 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, August 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. pokemongolive.comEevee Community Day is back—with special attacks for each of Eevee's Evolutions!

Today Niantic announced that almost exactly three years since the first Eevee Community Day in Pokemon GO, the Evolution Pokemon will yet again be the featured Pokemon in the month of August. And just like last time, this Community Day will span two days instead of just the regular single day.

Despite that similarity with the original Eevee Community Day, there are a number of features and bonuses that will be quite different. For starters, each eeveelution will get its own special Community Day attack instead of just learning Last Resort. Instead, Eevee you catch in the wild or hatch during Community Day will know Last Resort.

You can find the full list of Community Day attacks down below.

And even more noteworthy is that the evolution window for getting Pokemon with these moves will be greatly expanded compared to regular Community Day events. Typically, you’ll be able to evolve a Pokemon on Community Day up to two hours after the event ends and still get its special attack. This time around, any Eevee evolved between Aug. 13 at 10 AM and Aug. 16 at 10 AM will be able to learn an event-exclusive attack.

And if you’re still worried about having a little trouble getting some of the new eeveelutions (Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon), then there’ll be some added help along the way. There will be a Timed Research task line that will reward you with a Mossy Lure and a Glacial Lure. And for Sylveon, Eevee will only need to earn seven hearts as your buddy instead of the standard 70.

During the actual two days of the Eevee Community Day event, a handful of bonuses and features will be available to Pokemon GO trainers.

Finally, the in-game Shop will have a couple of items you can pick up. Just like past events, there will be a $1 ticket that will give you access to a Special Research story titled What You Choose to Be. There will also be a Community Day Box available for 1280 PokeCoins that will contain 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense, one Elite Charged TM, and one Elite Fast TM.

The Eevee Community Day event itself will take place between Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, and Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, from 11 AM to 5 PM local time on each day.

Ultra Unlock: Space and Ultra Unlock: Time Details Revealed | Pokemon GO Wiki

GamePress 23 July, 2021 - 08:01am

The Ultra Unlocks for Go Fest were initially given no context beyond small hints and confirmation that we'd managed to score the unlocks during the event. But now we have official confirmation of what these events will entail.

Incredible work completing all 24 challenges in the Global Challenge Arena during Pokémon GO Fest 2021! As is tradition with Pokémon GO Fest events, we’re excited to unveil more details on this year’s Ultra Unlock bonus events.

As you know, the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa appeared during Pokémon GO Fest 2021 just the other day. Hoopa seemed intent on causing mischief and summoned all kinds of Legendary Pokémon to raids! That mischief is continuing even now, and it seems the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia will be summoned to raids next! Keep an eye on how time and space are distorted by the appearance of each of these Legendary Pokémon. There’s still no sign of Hoopa reappearing, but we’ll continue to monitor the situation. For now, read on to learn about what awaits you in Parts 1 and 2 of this year’s Ultra Unlock!

The flow of time has been disrupted! Dialga will be appearing in five-star raids, and Pokémon from various eras will be appearing more often. Look forward to encountering formerly fossilized Pokémon like Cranidos and Shieldon—if you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny Cranidos or a Shiny Shieldon!

Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time will run from Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

It appears space will be distorted as well, causing Pokémon from various places to appear where they usually don’t! Look forward to seeing Palkia appearing in five-star raids, Heatmor and Durant appearing in the wild, and more. Heracross will also be appearing globally for the first time in three-star raids—if you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny Heracross!

Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space will run from Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Ultra Unlock Part Three: ??? will run from Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. What will happen once Parts 1 and 2 are over? Will these abnormal events continue to happen? What awaits us during Part 3? Stay tuned!

Thanks again to all the Trainers who participated in this global challenge. Let’s enjoy these bonuses and look forward to next year’s Pokémon GO Fest, and all the adventures in between!

Ultra Unlock Part One Begins Today In Pokémon GO: Full Details

Bleeding Cool News 23 July, 2021 - 07:12am

The highly anticipated annual Ultra Unlock begins today in Pokémon GO. The first part of this three-part event will focus on Time, with the Legendary Pokémon Dialga as the Tier Five raid boss. Let's take a dive into the event's full details.

The details of the Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time event was announced over at the official Pokémon GO blog:

Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time will run from Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

This, to me, is awesome. Pokémon GO's events have gotten a bit less generous in the past year with their features if we're being completely honest, but when events with major Shiny releases and desirable features last a week and a half like this one, it balances out what we're otherwise missing.

Dialga's raid feature will be one of the major releases of 2021 by a huge stretch. Trainers have been speculating for well over a year now about the delay in the Shiny release of Palkia and Dialga, two Dragon-types from Sinnoh that have been only featured during one-day GO Fest stints since their early 2019 release. This may be the most hyped Shiny Legendary release since Rayquaza in 2019.

The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids from Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time:

Dialga will be appearing in five-star raids. If you're lucky, you might find a Shiny Dialga!

Magneton, Aerodactyl, Porygon2, and Golurk will be appearing in three-star raids. Unown U, Cranidos, Shieldon, Bronzor, and Klink will be appearing in one-star raids. If you're lucky, you might find a Shiny Unown U!

Note here that these raid features will outlast the event. The Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space raid rotation also lists Unown U.

The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild: Voltorb, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, Baltoy, Cranidos, Shieldon, and more. If you're lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Cranidos or a Shiny Shieldon!

The two new non-Legendary Shiny releases, Cranidos and Shieldon, are confirmed here as wild spawns. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that they're as common as, say, Darumaka from the 5th-Year Anniversary Event rather than the does-it-even-exist spawn rate of Shiny Deino during last year's Ultra Unlock.

The following Pokémon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs: Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, and Shieldon.

If you're after Shiny Aerodactyl, which has a higher rate, these Eggs are worth it. Otherwise, there's nothing here that's going to be a major draw.

Complete Timed Research for a chance to earn encounters with certain event-themed Pokémon! This Timed Research will be available from Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. There will also be themed Field Research available at PokéStops throughout the event.

Stay tuned for a full breakdown of the tasks and rewards for this new Pokémon GO Timed Research.
