The shootings, per the Associated Press, took place in two locations across the Milwaukee River near Water St. around 12:42 a.m. on Wednesday.

Multiple shots were heard on local TV broadcasts, including on TMJ4 — which was covering the celebrations when “dozens of gunshots” were heard. The scene, reporter Ben Jordan said, was “incredibly frightening.”
