How to find Batman in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7 | Dot Esports

Dot Esports 10 August, 2021 - 08:33pm

Track down the caped crusader today.

After months of waiting, one of DC’s most famous heroes is finally able to be obtained in Fortnite. Unlike most other skins in the game, you won’t have to acquire Batman’s iconic outfit in the Item Shop. Instead, you’ll have to buy the Season seven battle pass and earn him via challenges.

One of the main challenges players will face is a new set of quests for Superman, Beast Boy, and Armored Batman Zero, who are all now located around the island.

While the challenge tells you relatively where to go on your map, it doesn’t label the locations for any of the heroes. This means you’ll have to guess which locations correspond with each character under normal circumstances.

Armored Batman Zero can be found over by the Dirty Docks point-of-interest in the map, located towards the center-right side of the island. Once you’re there, go towards the south side of that POI and look for the two cranes by the water; he should be located on the ground near them.

The challenges that Armored Batman Zero gives out change every match, but some examples seen in-game include “defeat an alien” and “fly a saucer.” Obviously, these may not be the same in your specific match, but it gives you a good example.

As previously mentioned, you’ll need to complete quests at all three character locations in order to unlock Batman. It might be best to start working on them as soon as possible if you want to unlock him, especially since they change.

Fortnite: How to Get Clark Kent Skin

GameRant 10 August, 2021 - 02:05pm

To put thing simply, obtaining the Clark Kent skin centers around completing quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy in Fortnite. In total, fans must finish five quests from these specifics NPCs, and any of the tasks that they offer are perfectly suitable. That said, before a player can complete challenges for Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy, they must locate them, and the map that is found below highlights their precise positions.

After obtaining the Clark Kent skin, players can actually use it to complete a couple of the brand new Superman challenges. One of those quests instructs fans to glide through rings as Clark Kent in Fortnite, and those hoops can be found hovering above Weeping Woods. Upon completion of this task, fans will receive the Daily Planet back bling, which will be a nice addition to any Superman fan's locker.

That is because completing it unlocks Fortnite's Superman skin, which is a prize that many fans undoubtedly have their eyes on. Players can also unlock a variant style for this skin, as well as some additional accessories to go along with it, by completing the various Epic Quests that appear in the game.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Fortnite: Clark Kent, Armored Batman and Beast Boy locations explained

Eurogamer.net 10 August, 2021 - 10:35am

Where to find each superhero to help you with the Superman quests.

Fortnite's Clark Kent, Armoured Batman and Beast Boy are three characters introduced in Season 7 as part of the Superman quest.

As part of unlocking the Superman skin, you must complete quests given to you from each of these characters, who are dotted around the map.

Or, at least, are supposed to be - with their locations not appearing on the skin's debut. Thankfully, there is a workaround.

Once you have completed enough quests from the trio, the skin is then yours - so learning where to track down each one is worth knowing.

Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 7 Battle Pass Trailer

At launch, all three superheroes associated with the Superman quest - Clark Kent, Armoured Batman and Beast Boy - had not appeared on the map.

Fortnite creator Epic acknowledged this, saying it will provide an update when it has more information:

In the meantime, there was a workaround. If you visited a payphone around the island, there was a chance it'll be one of the three characters. If so, this would count as one of the five quests you need for the Superman skin.

We tested this and was able to obtain - and complete - quests from Armored Batman, including one which involved locating a Saucer. To clarify, the chances of it being Clark Kent, Armoured Batman or Beast Boy is not guaranteed - but we visited the same payphone three times, and out of those, spoke to Armored Batman twice.

For example, he gave us a 'fly a saucer' quest, which we were then able to complete, going towards our Superman skin challenge total.

It's worth keeping in mind that this method still works, and may come in handy in case you stumble upon many other players trying to complete the quest, and either kill you or the NPC. However, there are reliable and fixed locations of all three to chat to.

Since all three characters are finally enabled, you can find them in the following locations at a glance:

Armoured Batman can be found in the southeastern area of Dirty Docks, close to the ocean and south of the container area when looking at the map.

Beast Boy is located in Weeping Woods. He's usually patrolling the wooden bridge that is right in the centre, and can be spotted either inside one of the houses or walking on the bridge itself.

Lastly, Superman can be seen at The Orchard, which is the farm above Corny Complex when looking at the map. He's always inside the house located north.

Even if you prefer to talk to just a single character, it's worth chatting to all three to flesh out your character collection for the season.

Where to find Beast Boy, Clark Kent, and Armored Batman in ‘Fortnite’

Inverse 10 August, 2021 - 09:50am

Not all heroes wear back bling.

The most challenging part of this quest is that Clark, Batman, and Beast Boy each have a limited number of quests to complete. With that in mind, you’ll likely need to shift between all three NPC locations to complete this quest done.

Here’s one location in Believer Beach.

And another approaching Pleasant Park from the south. We’ll do our best to cover the status of this bug as news appears. The original NPC locations are below for when the issue is resolved.

This is what the location looks like when you land there. To accept a quest, talk to Clark like you would any other NPC in the game. Select the ! icon, and he’ll offer up a short-term quest to complete.

He’s situated next to this box and cargo container. Once again, interact with him just like any other NPC, and complete the quest he’s offering.

This is what the spot looks like when you land there. As long as you complete at least five quests from these three heroic NPCs, you should get your hands on the Call to Action emote, Superman Shield Spray, and Clark Kent skin style that should help you move forward with the questline.

Completing quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, and Beast Boy accounts for just one of the new Superman quests going live in Fortnite on Tuesday. Here’s the full list of Superman Quests for those who may have missed them in-game.

That’s all you need to know about Clark Kent, Armored Batman, and Beast Boy in Fortnite.
