That’s because it’s part of a lengthy quest chain called the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual. The first area where you need to complete certain steps is Konda Village. Then, you’ll have to complete the cleansing ritual in the Abandoned Shrine. During this part, an NPC from the Grand Narukami Shrine will provide you with a gadget known as the Memento Lens. Without it, you won’t be able to progress further.
