Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 5 Coming July 13, And Here's What It Does

The Madden NFL EA Play trial begins today, August 12, for subscribers--and only on console, apparently. That's more than a week before the game officially launches. This is the full version of the game, but the one "catch" is that it's only a 10-hour trial. As such, you'll want to remember to close the game completely when you're finished in a particular sitting so you get the most out of it.

To grab the 10-hour trial, you can simply search for Madden NFL 22 on your platform and, provided you're an EA Play subscriber, it should show up as available to download. However, it can also be pretty tricky to find. On Xbox Series X, for instance, we had to go to the game's page from the Microsoft Store app and select the "choose edition" option, where it was hidden.

According to RealSport101, the Madden NFL 22 EA Play trial will not be available on PC. PC players aren't being left out altogether from early play, however, as the game's Dynasty and MVP editions unlock three days early, beginning August 17.

And this is the full version of Madden NFL 22 without any time restrictions. These versions are also available on Xbox and PlayStation, with the same early access bonus.

The trial has begun appearing on consoles. Follow the steps above and you should be able to locate it and begin playing.

Madden NFL 22 features Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady on the cover, together. One of the game's new systems is a home field advantage feature that aims to replicate how difficult it can be for away teams to win on the road. For more, check out the top Madden NFL 22 player ratings.

Madden 22 early access: Here are two ways to play before the 2021 release date

msnNOW 12 August, 2021 - 06:30pm

"Madden NFL 22" will be available soon, and it'll be available even sooner for some people. While EA Sports has a worldwide release date for the popular video game, it also has a pair of early access periods, allowing gamers to play before everyone else.

We'll break down the two ways you can play Madden 22 early.

Madden 22 has a worldwide release date on Friday, August 20.

EA Sports is offering an early access period of Madden 22 starting on Thursday, August 12. This is available to people who have an EA Play membership and who pre-ordered the game. This early access period allows you to play a 10-hour trial of Madden 22 prior to its official release date.

In addition, you get some extra content as a member of EA Play.

EA Play is a membership that costs $4.99 a month or $29.99 annually.

If you aren't interested in joining EA Play for the 10-hour trial early access period, there's also another way to play Madden 22 early. This route is much simpler as all you need to do is pre-order the game, but you must pre-order either the Dynasty or MVP edition. You do not get early access by pre-ordering the standard edition.

If you pre-order the Dynasty or MVP edition you'll be eligible to play three days early on Tuesday, August 17. As a reward, you'll be able to play exclusive challenges during the early access window.

You also get a number of other rewards by pre-ordering, which we explain here.

Madden NFL 22's Free Trial Is Now Live With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Pure Xbox 12 August, 2021 - 06:30pm

Madden NFL 22 doesn't take to the field until August 20th, but if you want to try it early, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now download the game for free and play 10 hours of the experience prior to launch.

This is a perk of the EA Play program, and includes the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions of the game, so you can take your pick. All you need to do to download it is head to the Madden NFL 22 game page on the Xbox Store and select 'Free Trial', however it is very difficult to locate — here's how we found it:

New features for Madden 22 include a redeveloped Franchise mode that "makes players feel more connected and in control of their team," an all-new single player campaign and avatar progression system for The Yard, a new story, player class system, the option to play on the defensive side of the ball as a linebacker in Face of the Franchise, and more.

This is all built around something called Dynamic Gameday, which uses special Atmosphere, Gameday Momentum and Next Gen Stats: Star-Driven AI features to "make the game more immersive, authentic and keep it fresh year-round.”

Any progress you make in the trial will carry over to the full release, so make those ten hours count!

Whether you’re strategizing for a matchup in the redeveloped Franchise mode, going head-to-head in Play Now, or competing online in Madden Ultimate Team, you’ll feel Dynamic Gameday impact gameplay everywhere in Madden NFL 22.

Madden 22 Early Access kicks off today: How to get in

HITC - Football, Gaming, Movies, TV, Music 12 August, 2021 - 05:25am

Madden 22 doesn’t officially release until August 20, but Early Access for this year’s game has kicked off today. If you’re interested in hitting the grid iron a little early, there are two ways to start playing.

The first is through EA Play. Subscribing to EA’s video game membership grants you early access to Madden 22 on August 12.

The early access period through EA Play is more like a 10-hour trial, but the full game is available to you during it. As it’s a trial, your access to Madden 22 will expire after the ten hours and you’ll have to purchase it if you wish to continue playing. But you will save 10% on your pre-order. Additionally, you’ll get monthly Ultimate Team Pack rewards and a Launch Welcome Pack as well.

The other option is pre-ordering either the Madden NFL 22 MVP Edition ($99.99) or the Madden NFL 22 Dynasty Edition ($119.99). Both of these versions offer early access starting on August 17, 2021, three days before the official launch of the game.

They also come with Dual Entitlement, the path for a free upgrade from the Xbox One or PS4 version to the Xbox Series X|S or PS5. They also come with all sorts of digital goodies, including Staff Points to upgrade your Franchise Staff,  Ultimate Team packs and more. As a reminder, purchasing the Standard Edition of Madden 22 does not come with the Dual Entitlement offer, so you’d have to buy the full game again on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S if you wish to upgrade.

Unlike last year’s game, Madden 22 offers some exclusive gameplay enhancements for the next-gen versions. The most notable is Dynamic Gameday, three core features (Gameday Atmosphere, Gameday Momentum and Next Gen Stats: Star Driven AI) that improve the overall gameplay experience across every mode and offer a deeper level of strategy.
