Tom Cruise, Jeremy Clarkson and Oti Mabuse lead stars at Wimbledon Men's Singles Final

Express 12 July, 2021 - 10:07am

Wimbledon welcomed many stars for the Men’s Final between Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini today. Among those pictured were Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, Jeremy Clarkson and Tom Cruise watching from the sidelines.

The match was watched by a full crowd on Centre Court, including several familiar faces.

Among those pictured with lucky tickets were Tom, Jeremy and Oti.

Tom was making his second appearance in as many days for the final after attending the Women’s Final yesterday.

The Mission Impossible star also wore his trademark aviator sunglasses for the match.

Yesterday, Tom was joined by actor Hayley Atwell as he watched Australian Ash Barty lift the trophy.

Strictly Come Dancing star Oti was pictured with her husband Marius Lepure at the match.

She donned a beautiful pale pink dress for the occasion complete with a large bow.

Jeremy was also there with his girlfriend Lisa Hogan.

Other stars pictured at Wimbledon include comedians Rob Brydon and Jimmy Carr.

Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey, actor Hugh Skinner and singer Arlo Parks were all snapped.

Former professional boxer David Haye was also spotted at the final match.

Footballer Tammy Abraham made an appearance as well as Made in Chelsea star Ollie Proudlock

Kate Middleton was pictured alongside her father Michael Middleton as was Lady Amelia Windsor.

Elsewhere, Cruise reportedly FaceTimed the England squad ahead of their Euros final tonight.

Speaking to BBC 5Live, Harry Kane opened up about the moment the actor called.

He said: “Obviously we have had ex-players and people get in touch.

“We actually had Tom Cruise get in touch yesterday evening, you get everyone who loves football.

“The majority of people in the world love football, so it’s great to have all that support not just in England but across the world, so it’s been a great time for all of us.”

However, Gareth Southgate missed out on the fun because he was working.

He explained to the Independent: “They were very fortunate. They had a preview of a film that’s due out further down the line and they had Tom dial in to speak to them which was, I would imagine, quite surreal.

“I was in a meeting watching videos of Italy but that’s another story.

“I think they all thoroughly enjoyed that experience and, yeah, they’ve had a good week, really.”

Tom Cruise attends Goodwood, Wimbledon AND the Euros final in one day

MSN UK 12 July, 2021 - 10:07am

Tom Cruise proved he was every inch the social butterfly as he attended Goodwood, Wimbledon and the Euros final all in one day.

The Mission: Impossible star left social media users stunned with his impressive time management as he made the most of the three events that spanned West Sussex and London on Sunday.

Radio DJ Greg James was first to kick off the light-hearted jesting with a tweet that read: 'What events have you got planned next week that you could invite Tom Cruise to?'

The first stop for the adrenaline-loving Hollywood star was the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2021 in Chichester, West Sussex.

Cruise was pictured alongside the Duke of Richmond at the final day of the festival which featured some of the world's fastest cars and motorbikes in action on the track.

Other famous faces at the event, which ran from Thursday to Sunday, included Chris Evans, Jackie Stewart and Mario Andretti.

But Cruise did not hang around as just hours later he was seen waving to fans as he returned to Wimbledon to watch Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini go head-to-head at 2pm in the men's singles final.

The superstar, who was wearing a blue suit and tie and aviator sunglasses, had returned to The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for the second day in a row after he watched Ashleigh Barty defeat Karolina Pliskova in the ladies' final on Saturday.

This time he was not accompanied by actress Hayley Atwell, his co-star in the upcoming Mission: Impossible film and Marvel star Pom Klementieff, with whom he arrived on Saturday.

But, once again, Cruise was wasting no time as he headed straight to Wembley along with David Beckham and Kate Moss, to watch England's clash with Italy in the Euro 2020 final at 8pm.

And his busy social calendar did not go unnoticed by social media users who have since joked about where the Hollywood star might pop up next.

Radio DJ Greg James was first to poke fun at the actor in a tweet that read: 'What events have you got planned next week that you could invite Tom Cruise to?'

And others were quick to follow suit as one added: 'Fully expecting Tom Cruise to show up at school sports day.'

Another cheekily said: 'Do you think he does birthdays?'

And a third commented: 'There are many Tom Cruises. That is my theory.'
