Can you get shiny dialga in Pokemon go?

When it comes to raids, players should go hard at Dialga in the five-star raids. Not only is it one of the best legendaries in “Pokemon Go,” this time around it can be shiny. The Mercury News‘Pokemon Go’ analysis: Here’s what to catch for the summer’s Ultra Unlock events

Fortunately, the team has been given a huge upgrade as players like Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, and Khris Middleton have all flown in last minute after competing in the NBA Finals. In a report by Brian Windhorst of ESPN, Green expressed jubilation when it comes to having these players on the roster, and he had quite a bit of praise for their determination.

"I have a lot of respect for those guys for not only committing to do this but actually keeping their word," Green said. "You're talking about three true professionals, three extremely competitive guys that wouldn't be on their way here if this didn't mean something."

Green knows they didn't have to make the sacrifice, especially when you consider everything they have been through in the postseason.

"We could've very easily got to the last game ... and Devin Booker saying, 'Man, we lost, I'm pissed off, I'm out,' or Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday saying, 'We just won a championship, I want to celebrate and stay home with my family, I'm out,'" Green said. "It's on us to make sure that we do our parts to make sure they're rewarded with what they ultimately came here for, which is to help us to compete and win a gold medal."

With Booker, Holiday, and Middleton on the roster, Team USA has a much better shot at glory, and it will be interesting to see how they all come together.

Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Time Event - All Raids, Spawns, and Shiny Pokemon

GameRant 24 July, 2021 - 12:10pm

The first Ultra Unlock reward to arrive in Pokemon GO will be the Time bonuses. These activities are scheduled to kick off on July 23 and trainers will have until August 3 to take advantage of all the special spawns, raids, and activities associated with the reward before the event concludes and is followed by the Space Ultra Unlock bonuses in early to mid-August.

The Time event features some brand new Shiny Pokemon, which should be very exciting news for any players out there who are chasing that ever elusive Shiny Dex completion. Even if players aren't all about collecting, shiny Pokemon, there are still some great features to take advantage of while this event is live. Both the Battle Raids and the increased wild spawns include some Pokemon that are definitely relevant to the PoGO PvE and PvP meta game scenes.

Dialga, the Legendary Temporal Pokémon, will be appearing in five-star raids through August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny Dialga!

Additionally, Trainers can encounter Unown U, Cranidos, Shieldon, Bronzor, and Klink in one-star raids.

Aerodactyl, Porygon2, and Golurk will be appearing in three-star raids.

Complete Timed Research and themed Field Research throughout the event for reward encounters with Pokémon from the past and future.

Throughout this time-traveling gala, the following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild: Voltorb, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, Baltoy, Cranidos, Shieldon, and more.

Pokémon hatching from 7 km Eggs during Part 1 of the Ultra Unlock event include: Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, and Shieldon.

In addition to potentially encountering a Shiny Dialga, truly lucky Trainers might encounter a Shiny Unown U, a Shiny Cranidos, or a Shiny Shieldon.

At this point that's everything that is known about the upcoming Time Ultra Unlock event, but there will definitely be full lists of Timed and Field Research tasks and rewards coming as the event gets closer. Players should be sure to check back to find out what is required for those and what sort of rewards are up for grabs throughout the event window.

In the coming weeks, we should learn more about what other events will be arriving during the rest of the Season of Discovery. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Shiny Cranidos & Shiny Shieldon Now Available In Pokémon GO

Bleeding Cool News 24 July, 2021 - 12:10pm

The annual Ultra Unlock event is one of the most anticipated times of the year in Pokémon GO. Previously called the Ultra Bonus, this event arrives every year as a reward to players for hitting certain milestones during GO Fest. In 2021, Ultra Unlock arrives as a three-part event, dedicated to Time, Space, and the mysterious finale currently labeled "???" in the announcement. Today, the first part of Ultra Unlock 2021 begins with its focus on Time. This event has a major focus on Fossil Pokémon, with these revitalized prehistoric species appearing in the wild, in Eggs, and elsewhere. One of the most exciting features that Ultra Unlock Part One: Time brings to Pokémon GO today is the Shiny release of both Cranidos and Shieldon. Here's everything you need to know about these newly Shiny-capable Fossil Pokémon.

You can look to the official Pokémon GO blog to see where these Pokémon can be encountered:

Unown U, Cranidos, Shieldon, Bronzor, and Klink will be appearing in one-star raids. If you're lucky, you might find a Shiny Unown U!

The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild: Voltorb, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, Baltoy, Cranidos, Shieldon, and more. If you're lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Cranidos or a Shiny Shieldon!

The following Pokémon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs: Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, and Shieldon.

While we cannot yet confirm how often Cranidos and Shieldon will be appearing in the wild, it's at least nice to see that there are many different ways to encounter these species. I'd also suggest staying tuned to Bleeding Cool's Pokémon GO coverage today as our breakdown of the event's Timed Research goes live. The blog has not confirmed exactly what species will be offered for encounters, but it does indeed confirm that it will reward event-themed species.

Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Time Event: Field Research Tasks and Rewards

GameRant 24 July, 2021 - 12:10pm

The first of the Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock reward events is Time-themed and kicks off today (July 23). Now that the event is live, players can enjoy a ton of exciting features and battle against Dialga in Legendary raids for a chance at a shiny encounter. There is also some limited timed research to complete, so many trainers should be out and about crossing tasks off of their list during the event window.

In addition to the Timed Research that trainers can power through between now and August 3, there is also the opportunity to find some event-specific Field Research tasks by spinning Pokestops in the wild. There are some pretty strong event-related encounter and item rewards, so trainers on the hunt for Shieldon and Cranidos will want to be sure to keep an eye out for these particular tasks throughout the next week or so...

Earn a Candy Walking With your buddy - Ultra Ball Ultra Ball * 3

Hatch an Egg - Shieldon Encounter

Spin 10 Poké Stops or Gyms - Poke Ball Poke Ball * 10

Win a raid in under 60 seconds - Cranidos Encounter

It's a short list of Field Research, but keep in mind that these rewards can be earned multiple times per day if players can find various Pokestops that are offering these challenges. Even though players can only earn one Field Research stamp towards their Breakthrough Encounter per day, it's still wise to complete multiple Field Tasks everyday if players are out and about anyway and there are rewards on the table that are worth the effort. Hatching an Egg and winning a Raid in under 60 seconds are fairly common accomplishments for the average player, so it definitely makes sense to keep an eye out for those two quests and complete them as often as possible for any player who is trying to rack up the Shieldon or Cranidos Candy during this event.

In the coming weeks, we should learn more about what other events will be arriving during the rest of the Season of Discovery. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Before diving into the Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock: Time tasks and rewards, it is important to note that this Timed Research will only be available until Tuesday, August 3 at 8pm local time. As such, players should make sure to start working on these tasks sooner rather than later, or they may miss out on some of the rewards. Fortunately, none of the challenges are extremely difficult, and fans that put in a bit of effort should have ample time to complete them all.

Rewards: 10 Poke Balls, 483 XP, 3 Ultra Balls

Rewards: 5 Great Balls, 483 XP, 3 Ultra Balls

Rewards: 15 Poke Balls, 483 XP, 3 Ultra Balls

One final thing to mention is that these Timed Research tasks are not the only new activities for players to engage with during the ongoing event.
