Best Buy PS5 restock date A few things to keep in mind: Best Buy's drops always occur on afternoons (between 12pm ET and 3pm ET) and they always offer the consoles at list price: $499 for the PS5 and $399 for the PS5 Digital. PS5 restock returns to Sony Direct

Sony Direct is hosting its second PS5 restock of the month today (Tuesday, July 20). The invite-only drop will start at 12 p.m. PT (3 p.m. ET). This restock comes just days after their last invite-only event, which took place last Friday.

In the past, Sony has offered PS5 consoles to the general public upon finishing its invite-only event. However, last week Sony didn't open a virtual queue for the general public. It's unclear what will happen today. However, if there's a PS5 restock for the general public, it'll likely begin an hour or two after the invite-only drop. You'll be able to get the PS5 for $499 via this link or the PS5 Digital for $399 via this link. Today's restock news was first reported by PS5 tracker Wario64.

In order to get exclusive invites from Sony Direct, you'll want to have an active Sony Direct account and make sure you have notifications set to "yes." Creating a Sony Direct account is easy. You can sign up via this link here. Once you've set up an account, you'll want to add your address and billing info. Having this info on file will make things easier should you manage to get a PS5 console in your cart.

To turn on notifications from Sony Direct, you'll want to sign into your account, click on "My Profile," and then click the "edit" button from your profile page. You'll then be redirected to a new account settings page. From within that page, choose "notifications" from the left column and then make sure you opt-in to receive news and special offers from Sony.

Keep in mind this trick doesn't guarantee you'll get an invite in time for the next PS5 drop, but it should increase your chances for the next exclusive Sony Direct PS5 restock event.

Usually after an invite-only PS5 restock, Sony tends to open its virtual queue to the general public. However, that's not always a guarantee. (Last month the retailer completely sold out). If there are extra consoles, a restock for the general public will likely occur minutes after the invite-only event wraps up. (Usually an hour or two after the start of the original drop). Of course, you can bookmark our page and we'll keep you updated on the latest PS5 restock news from Sony Direct and all major U.S. retailers.

Once you're on the virtual queue, you'll be given an estimated wait time. All wait times vary, and there's a good chance you'll have "more than an hour" wait. If that's the case, don't despair. Your status can rapidly change and you may have a shorter wait time than estimated. (For instance, after waiting 20 minutes on a previous PS5 restock event, our time was cut from "more than an hour" to just 15 minutes).

Additionally, you may be required to solve a captcha. (A simple challenge/question to ensure you're not a bot). It usually requires that you select a radio box. As a result, you'll want to make sure your browser tab remains prominent, because if it's not you might miss your captcha challenge and you could forfeit your place in line.

UPDATE FOUR: PS5 stock hunters looking forward to the next Argos restock have been given a potential time and date for the next stock drop.

The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter - who recently exclusively revealed Argos had received a shipment of PS5 stock - has delivered an update about when the retailer will open orders for the PlayStation 5 next.

According to the reliable PS5 stock tracker account, Argos are predicted to take orders for the PS5 once again in the UK on Friday July 23 at 8am BST.

The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: "PlayStation 5 (Argos) News.

"Argos have fully distributed Disc Edition consoles over the weekend as we exclusively reported on Thursday.

"Digital Edition consoles are currently being distributed, though it's a small portion.

"Drop expected: Friday 23rd July 8am".

The account went on to add: "This will be Argos' last drop in July.

"Please note the drop expectancy is our own prediction, and is not guaranteed."

Besides Argos, Very and GAME are expected to be the next big PS5 restocks in the UK.

Follow the links below to the head to the order pages you need to visit for these major retailers...

UPDATE THREE: Ahead of the next rumoured PS5 restock GAME has removed all listings for the PS5 Disc edition console.

GAME previously had 21 purchase options listed for its next PS5 restock, which included standalone PS5 Disc and PS5 Digital consoles as well as bundles.

However, as Express.co.uk spotted, over the weekend all listings for the PS5 Disc console were removed from the GAME website.

Despite this, it would be a surprise if the next GAME PS5 restock - believed to be going live on Wednesday or Thursday - didn't include any PS5 Disc consoles.

Past GAME restocks have included stock on both PS5 Disc and PS5 Digital consoles, with GAME reportedly getting more stock on the Disc console than the Digital on a regular basis.

UPDATE TWO: PlayStation fans are gearing up for the start of a fresh week of P55 restock in the UK.

PS5 stock tracker accounts will likely soon deliver forecasts for the week ahead, giving potential dates and names of UK retailers that could be opening orders once again for Sony's next-gen console.

But ahead of this we know a few dates that PS5 stock hunters will need to keep an eye out on.

GAME are rumoured to be opening up orders for the PS5 once again on either Wednesday July 21 or Thursday July 22.

While Argos are also expected to be taking orders for the PS5 once again on their website during the coming week.

Recently Argos has been opening up orders for the PS5 again on Fridays, so we could see PS5 orders go live at Argos on Friday July 23.

Alternatively, Argos previously used to release more PS5 stock on Tuesdays, so we could instead see a PS5 restock go live on Tuesday July 20.

Finally, Very are rumoured to be taking orders for the PS5 once again between Tuesday July 20 and Wednesday July 28.

Elsewhere, it's been claimed Argos has received a shipment of PS5 stock ahead of its next restock.

Next week could see GAME, Argos and potentially Very also start taking orders in the UK for the in demand next-gen PlayStation 5 console.

If you missed out on any of this week's restocks, and want to try and reserve a PS5 then you could head to Box.co.uk this weekend.

The retailer is running a ballot system for PS5 stock, so all you have to do is enter your e-mail to be in with a chance of ordering a PS5 from the site.

The Box PS5 ballot is for a bundle that costs £849.99. This bundle includes a PS5 console, a copy of Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, an extra DualSense controller and a Logitech G923 racing wheel and pedals (which is priced £289 at Box).

Explaining why they've opted for a ballot system for its next PS5 restock, Box said: "We have taken the decision to utilise a ballot format so that customers can receive a fair chance to purchase a PlayStation 5 Console, while keeping our website online throughout the process.

"This ensures a smoother transaction and stops customers from having to battle each other on a website put under an enormous amount of strain with huge volumes of traffic all trying to purchase the same product at one time."

ORIGINAL: The PS5 is still selling like hot cakes whenever stock becomes available to buy.

This week has already seen the PS5 become available to buy at Amazon UK, Smyths Toys and John Lewis, with stock selling out fast.

If you missed out on these restocks - or any other recent PS5 stock drop - then the good news is the in demand next-generation console from Sony is expected to come back in stock in the UK shortly.

So when is the next PS5 restock? When will the PS5 be available to buy once again in the UK?

Here is the latest PS5 stock news for July 2021...

According to the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account, Argos has received two PS5 shipments ahead of orders opening up again.

And Argos are tipped to be opening up orders once again the week beginning Monday July 19.

On Thursday July 15 the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: "Exclusive: Argos has received a shipment yesterday, and is receiving one today. The retailer is expected to drop the console online sometime next week. We'll keep you updated as usual when further/detailed information is available."

It's unclear at the moment which day Argos could release more stock, but recent PS5 restock have gone live on the Argos website on Fridays.

This week GAME updated its PS5 order page to add 21 new purchase options, which have a release date of July 30.

And this PS5 restock is rumoured to be going live on either Wednesday July 21 or Thursday July 22.

The @PS5UKStock account said the next GAME restock could go live on either July 21 or July 22.

The stock tracker also claimed the next GAME restock would be comprised of around 8,000 new consoles.

The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: "News: GAME has updated their release date to 30th July, indicating a possible stock drop next week.

"Our prediction for this drop is Wednesday 21st July. Potentially 8K stock with both editions on pre-order."

Elsewhere, Very are rumoured to be opening up orders for the PS5 once again in July.

However, according to @PS5Instant the Very PS5 shipment arrived later than usual so will now be going live between July 20 and 28.

A restock time of between 8am and 11am is anticipated.

PS5 restock tracker: GameStop, Best Buy and Target – which stores will have stock this week

TechRadar 18 July, 2021 - 03:36am

The PS5 restock situation in the US is going to be difficult this week, but Matt Swider has helped 57,500 people get a next-gen console. Here's how to get alerts.

PS5 restock tracker Matt Swider has helped 57,500 people in the US buy a next-gen console in 2021 with his tireless 24/7 tracking, in-stock Twitter alerts and exclusive restock reporting.

Update: PS5 restock news today, Sunday, June 18, isn't so promising in the US, but our 24/7 PS5 restock Twitter tracker Matt Swider will send you an alert when the PS5 is in stock this week – if you follow his account and turn on notifications. GameStop, Best Buy and a few other smaller stores in the US had the Sony console restocked this past week, so we're now waiting on a Walmart PS5 restock and Costco to see if they have the $499 PS5 Disc and $499 Digital for MSRP (or close to it), and since speed and is what matters, he's how to get live restock news updates and Twitter alerts.

When will PS5 restock? Follow our PS5 restock Twitter tracker Matt Swider and turn on notifications for restock news. It's the fastest way to get PS5 restock updates.

Don't buy from other Twitter users – which are all scams. Only buy from the US stores Matt alerts you about. No one will legitimate sell a PS5 for just $550.

Click on the PS5 restock GameStop alert that Matt Swider sent out last week on Thursday in order to follow and turn on notifications (it's that little bell icon).

The GameStop PS5 restock date is every seven and 15 days, and so far it's been just three days since the lead game retailer in the US had had the PS5 in stock. Buyers of the last restock on Thursday, July 16 are just now getting their PS5 console orders in the mail. GameStop is one to hold out for because it offers bundles; this turns off resellers who can't easily profit off readily available games and accessories, and that's a good thing for real gamers who are still on the hunt for a PS5 console. GameStop is also limiting early access to its PS5 restock events to its Power Rewards Pro members, which costs $15 a year, further thinning out the heard.

Going by that time table, the next PS5 restock at GameStop should be late next week (from Wednesday to Friday) or early the week after (Monday to Wednesday), if the US game retailer sticks to its usual pattern that's been used for much of 2021.

Look for an alert for the GameStop PS5 restock similar to this one.

We've also been doing a GameStop PS5 restock live stream since the store send out early word about its stock updates and timing. Here's the latest video in which you coached people through the restock event live. All PS5 restock live stream videos will happen if we have a heads-up about PS5 restock news – and for GameStop we always do.

There's been a Best Buy PS5 restock every full week in the past month (not counting the short 4th of July week in which there were almost no PS5 restock events), but the date and time of the Best Buy restock has shifted every single time – which is why you need our alerts. This last week the PS5 restock was on Wednesday.

Best Buy typically has both PS5 Digital and Disc for sale with the PS5 console by itself, but as always, this online order confused some people because they needed to buy it by selecting your local store (there's no shipment option and no, you can't buy PS5 in Best Buy stores yet). This means not every location has inventory and not all of Matt Swider's followers were able to get the console this past week.

The Walmart PS5 restock date and time is July 22 at 3pm EDT, if the retailer holds to its usual pattern of launching new orders on a Thursday (but not every Thursday). We didn't see a restock of the PS5 on Walmart this past week, as Nintendo swooped in with Nintendo Switch OLED pre-orders and controlled the narrative.

That means any PS5 console inventory that Walmart has been building will release on another day, and if the American retail chain has been doing Thursday afternoon restocks (almost always at 3pm EDT), then there's a good chance it'll be next week.

The Sony Direct PS5 restock has recently been limited to people who get an email invite from Sony, and that's exactly what happened yesterday, July 16. It's unclear how to get this Sony Direct invite other than being an active PSN user (which is free) and having a bit of luck. Previously, from June 16 on back (so a month ago), the Sony Direct virtual queue would open up to everyone at 5pm EDT. But that hasn't happened during the last two invite-only queues.

Matt will still alert you when the Sony Direct email invites go out, just in case you don't see it in your inbox. Without these Twitter alerts, a number of people have replied that they wouldn't have looked in time otherwise. Email invites usually go out just under 48 hours ahead of the actual Sony Direct PS5 restock.

There were two PS5 restock events at Antonline this week: one on Wednesday and another today, July 16 for a giant games-filled bundle. You're going to spend more money, but games and accessories are often included in these

The good thing about the Antonline PS5 restock is that everything is at face value, so you're not paying a premium for just the console like you would a reseller. The retail site doesn't mess around with the add-to-cart button (meaning once orders open, the checkout process is first-come, first-serve) and Antonline ships the PS5 quickly. It just lasts two minutes in stock, so you'll need our alerts.

🚨🚨🚨PS5 restock 🐜 ANTonline 🐜♻️RT this + follow @mattswider for instant Xbox & PlayStation 5 updatesAll PS5 bundle options https://t.co/JSyVr0ZiGzPro tip: bundles are higher in $, yes, but they remain in stock longerJuly 16, 2021

The Target PS5 restock happened Friday of last week, so we don't expect there to be another for a week or two. To give you context: Target went three weeks without a restock of the PlayStation 5, so it's safe to assume it needs way more than a single week to move inventory through its warehouses and to individual stores. There have been a few Target PS5 Digital restocks on Monday and Tuesday, the theory being it's at stores that got late shipments of the restock last week.

In 2021, the Target PS5 restock date has always been on a Wednesday or Thursday – except for last week in which it happened on a Friday (maybe because of the 4th of July holiday). It's also usually at 7:40am EDT, but the PS5 Disc went on sale first at an earlier time: 7:07am EDT. That's why we send out alerts so you don't have to check.

Update: There was a PS5 in stock at Newegg on Friday as part of its Newegg Shuffle, a popular products lottery where you can buy sought-after tech in the US. It was among a lot of RTX GPU stock.

Newegg Shuffle is where to find the true Newegg PS5 restock, not the PC component retailer's individual console product pages where the prices are above MSRP care of third-party resellers. Note: the PS5 console doesn't always make it into the selection. We'll send out an alert daily before the two-hour window in which the Newegg Shuffle period is open for new entries (usually the time is 11am EDT to 1pm EDT).

The next Sam's Club PS5 restock date is likely next month since we just saw a restock in the early mornings hours of Friday (Thursday night for some people on the West coast of the United States). We don't see Sam's Club offer many PS5 bundles week-to-week, but the benefit to this store, as opposed to Costco, for example, is that you don't have to be a member – you can pay a small fee to buy the console and checkout as a guest.

With Sam's Club restock dates being so rare, we don't advise staying up until 1am EDT every night in order to snag the PS5. However, that's been the most popular time from Sam's Club since launch and we'll send out an alert via our Twitter tracker like the one you see below.

Costco doesn't restock PS5 often – maybe once a month – and it's limited to Costco members, which is actually a good thing if you're a paid member. Even then, it sells out of its bundles just as quickly as Best Buy, GameStop and Walmart. This is due to the fact that its bundles are at face value for the games and accessories. You'll have less than three minutes on most Costco PS5 restock dates to get the console.

Our PS5 restock alerts for Costco, like the one below, is a good reason to tracker the PlayStation 5 with us on Twitter. It can crop up at any moment.

PS5 restock news updates in the US will continue until the Sony console is in stores and readily available on shelves. That might not happen in 2021 simply because we still see demand through our PS5 restock Twitter tracker every day, and as soon as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there's going to be a surge in demand right in time for the holidays. So the summer months in the US marks the best time to buy PS5. PS5 restock tracker Matt Swider is offering the same advisement based on what he expects from the Nintendo Switch OLED pre-orders, which are more readily available than PS5 ahead of the October 8 launch of the upgraded, but that won't last.

GAME PS5 stock - When is next PlayStation 5 console restock at GAME?

Express 17 July, 2021 - 02:23am

UPDATE: It looks like GAME could be taking orders for the PS5 once again next week.

Yesterday (Thursday July 15) the GAME website was updated to add more PS5 purchase options, with the latest batch of pre-orders having a release date of July 30.

This looked like it was indicating a PS5 restock next week, however previous restock patterns suggested orders could open up once again as early as Thursday this week.

That day has come and gone, however, without any PS5 pre-orders going live at GAME. So it looks like next week will be when the PS5 becomes available to buy on the GAME website.

According to PS5 stock tracker accounts, GAME could start taking orders for the PS5 on either Wednesday July 21 or Thursday July 22.

According to the @PS5UKStock Twitter account, this suggests PS5 orders at GAME will open next week on Wednesday July 21 or Thursday July 22.

However, the PS5 stock tracker account has said - based on previous restock patterns - GAME could open orders for its next batch of PS5 stock as early as today.

The @PS5UKStock Twitter posted: "News: GAME will deliver the next #PS5 online batch by 30th July.

"That suggests a drop on 21-22 July however, since May they have restocked 3x within one-week of a previous restock meaning, there is even a chance today.

The account went on to add: "Normally I wouldn't suggest such an early drop and instead, suggest GAME might actually end up changing the date shown today. However, I can't ignore the facts."

For its next PS5 restock, GAME has a range of bundles available to purchase as well as standalone PS5 Disc and Digital consoles.

The cheapest PS5 Digital bundle costs £389.98 and includes a PlayStation 5 Digital console as well as a T-shirt and hat.

The cheapest PS5 Disc bundle that is listed currently costs £479.98 and includes a console, T-shirt and hat.

While the most expensive PS5 Disc bundle costs £631.96 and includes a PlayStation 5 console, extra DualSense controller and Spider-Man Miles Morales as well as Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.

After GAME updated its site with the latest PS5 purchase options other stock tracker accounts have revealed information about the next restock.

The @PS5UKStockAlertUK Twitter account said GAME could have 8,000 PlayStation 5 consoles to sell with its next restock.

However, the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter predicted the next GAME restock would be available on Wednesday July 21.

The PS5 stock tracker posted: "News: GAME has updated their release date to 30th July, indicating a possible stock drop next week.

"Our prediction for this drop is Wednesday 21st July.

Normally I wouldn't suggest such an early drop and instead, suggest GAME might actually end up changing the date shown today. However, I can't ignore the facts. pic.twitter.com/YMS7dLns2B

"Potentially 8K stock with both editions on pre-order."

The latest GAME PS5 restock news comes after Amazon released its latest PS5 restock, with more retailers predicted to follow suit.

Very, Smyths Toys and ASDA have all been tipped to be opening up orders once again for the PS5 this week.
