Spider-Man: No Way Home Runtime Listed By Theaters (But Is It Real?)

Spider-Man: No Way Home may have just had its runtime revealed by a movie theater ticketing service. The film is coming out just two and a half months from now on December 17. The fourth film in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, No Way Home re-teams director Jon Watts with Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Marisa Tomei among other returning actors.

Also joining the cast are many performers from previous iterations of the Spider-Man franchise. This includes Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx as a revamped Electro as well as reportedly Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Peter Parkers from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man series, respectively. These characters are able to join the MCU because of Doctor Strange. In the film, when Peter Parker approaches Strange to enact a spell to make the world forget his secret identity, they will accidentally unleash the power of the multiverse.

Now, the first information may have dropped about how long audiences will get to spend with their favorite Spider-Men past and future. The UK-based theater chain Cineworld has created a ticket listing for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which includes a runtime. There is not yet a poster or any plot information, but the time is visible and states that the film will be 150 minutes long, a runtime of two and a half hours.

However, this runtime is certainly within the realm of possibility for Spider-Man: No Way Home. First of all, there will be a lot of characters and storylines to juggle (Tom Holland himself has teased additional plot twists), necessitating a broader expanse of time to cover everything. And second, this run time isn't entirely unprecedented. A runtime of 150 would make No Way Home the longest non-Avenger MCU film, but it would only be three minutes longer than Captain America: The Winter Soldier and about 15-25 minutes longer than the average Marvel outing. It remains to be seen if this runtime is officially confirmed by Marvel, but for now 150 seems quite likely.
