Is Taylor Swift on Tiktok?
Taylor Swift is on TikTok — or as she calls it, “SwiftTok.” The music superstar, 31, made her debut on the video-sharing app on Monday with a clip of herself lip-synching to British rapper Dave's song “Screwface Capital,” which mentions her by name. pagesix.comTaylor Swift makes TikTok debut with post that has 'lots going on'

Taylor Swift joined TikTok on Monday, sharing a clip of herself lip-syncing to Dave’s “Screwface Capital” — choice lyrics from which include, “My linen all tailored / My outstanding payments swift like Taylor.”
In the video, the 31-year-old musician counts down all of her recent album releases, clad in outfits true to each LP’s aesthetic.
She wears a white nightgown-style number for July 2020’s “Folklore,” a plaid Stella McCartney coat for December 2020’s “Evermore,” a yellow floral frock for April’s “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and a black turtleneck and red lip for November’s upcoming “Red (Taylor’s Version).”
And while the superstar’s Stella outerwear has long sold out and her custom Cathy Waterman “Red” ring will set you back thousands, her Reformation “Joyce” dress ($218) is still available and (relatively) affordable.
The linen look is even on sale in select colors — including Swift’s “Felicity” print, which is currently priced at $152.60. But sizes are going fast, so you’d better add to cart, well, swiftly.

Swift is a longtime fan of the sustainable brand’s feminine dresses, having previously been spotted in multiple other Reformation minis and midis. Other famous fans of the label include Hailey Baldwin, Kaia Gerber and countless others.
And there’s never been a better time to shop the celebrity-loved line; Reformation’s Surprise Summer Sale is currently in full swing, meaning you can save up to 50% off items from their sale rack including tops, skirts and (of course) dresses.

Less than a day after posting her first TikTok video, Taylor Swift continues to embrace the cottagecore aesthetic. Ahead of the release of her upcoming Red (Taylor's Version) album, available Nov. 19, the "Cardigan" singer dressed up in a handful of stylish outfits corresponding with her different musical eras. But the look that truly caught our eye was a pale yellow Joyce Dress in Felicity from Reformation, aka her ultimate Fearless ensemble. The down side? It's basically already sold out.
After hearing Fearless (Taylor's Version), which dropped April 9, we can't just let this charming linen look go, which is why we tracked down the understated print in three other sweet (and sustainable) silhouettes perfect for picnics, walks through the park, or posing for your own imaginary album cover. While the Joyce Dress has a slim fit in the bodice with a more relaxed skirt, the Petites Kourtney Dress is fitted with a long faux wrap skirt. If you're looking for a cute dress to pair with sneakers, the Marlowe Dress has a looser silhouette with a V-neck and has a shorter slit. But if you're truly looking to have a Moment (TM) on Instagram, the Lillet Dress, which features puff sleeves with buttons at the cuff and a tie along the neckline, is the way to go.
Complete with adjustable straps, the dresses are pretty much perfect for dressing up or down to match any occasion, so our wallets had better prepare themselves. Take a closer look at Taylor's outfits on TikTok and shop all four Reformation looks here.

Swift used the platform to announce that the rerecording of her über-melancholic album Red is now available for presale on her website. But the TikTok itself, like most things Swift does, is pretty elaborate. It’s soundtracked to a snippet from Dave’s “Screwface Capital” (which includes the lyric “swift like Taylor”) and features the singer dressed up in different outfits to showcase all the music she’s created over the last year: her four latest albums folklore, evermore, Fearless (Taylor’s Version), and finally Red (Taylor’s Version), which will come out November 19.
Many fans are dissecting the video to see what secret messages are hidden about the upcoming album, but perhaps Swift just wanted to make a silly little video? She is currently in the process of rerecording her first five albums because of ownership disputes over her old masters — a feat that has sparked some important conversations about the music industry and inspired musicians to consider ownership of their own work. But creating a TikTok might inspire some 30-somethings out there to feel they, too, can join in on Gen Z’s favorite app — which is yet another brave act of service.
Despite being born in 1989, Swift appears to be a natural, and spent the day commenting on her fans’ videos. Her bio reads, “This is pretty much just a cat account,” and I, personally, am very excited to see more content from Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin Button. You really do have to hand it to Taylor Swift for giving the people what they want, even when it’s unexpected.

Yep, you read that right. Ms. Swift has finally posted on TikTok! A video posted to her page a mere two hours ago has already garnered 1.7 million views and counting, proving that #SwiftTok is very much a thing. The video is to the song “Screwface Capital” by Dave, which features the shoutout lyric: “My linen all tailored/My outstanding payments swift like Taylor.”
In it, Swift appears “as” each of her recent albums. First, she begins in her Folklore filter, commemorating the album which dropped on July 24, 2020. Then the video jumps to Evermore, released December 11, 2020, followed by Fearless (Taylor’s Version) which dropped April 09 2021. Finally, we see Red (Taylor’s Version), which fans are patiently awaiting on November 19, 2021.
“Lots going on at the moment: Red (my version) vinyl is up for presale on my site and oh I’m on tiktok now let the games begin,” she captioned the video. Of course, this caption has a LOT to unpack. “Lots going on at the moment” has become a known phrase used by Swift before dropping something unexpected.
And of course, “Let the games begin” is a reference to a lyric from her song “Ready For It?” Given that the tune is from Reputation, an album for which a Taylor’s Version release date has not yet been announced, it’s possible we’ll know more soon.
In the meantime, though, I fully plan on showing my stan energy by shopping the dress Swift wears during the Fearless clip of the video. Paired with a simple round gold locket, Swift sports a dainty femme floral frock by none other than Reformation.
Reformation, Reputation…is it just me, or is this a hint? I’m patiently waiting on SwiftTok to tell me what it all means!
Reformation’s Joyce Linen Dress comes in five shades, but for maximum Fearless vibes, Swift went with yellow floral Felicity, a perfect choice for the album’s vibes.
Bottom line? If you’re looking for a gorg end-of-summer sundress, copy Ms. Swift and snag the Joyce before it’s gone. But hurry—sizes are selling fast now that it’s been spotted on the most talented songbird of our generation! I said what I said!! Welcome to TikTok, Tay.

Of course, she understood the assignment.

Taylor Swift said 'let the games begin' in her first TikTok post, continuing her legacy as an extremely 'online' artist
23 August, 2021 - 12:00am
The 31-year-old artist posted her first video on the app on Monday morning, launching her already verified account @taylorswift. The account, which has been picking up thousands of followers by the minute, features a New Year's Eve 2020 photo of Swift in a bear costume as its profile picture.
In her first video, Swift poses in outfits that match her most recent albums — "Folklore," "Evermore," and "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" — as well as her upcoming November album "Red (Taylor's Version)." She's also lip-syncing along to "Screwface Capital" by Dave, which features the lyric, "my outstanding payments swift like Taylor," a pun on Swift's name.
"Lots going on at the moment: Red (my version) vinyl is up for presale on my site and oh I'm on tiktok [sic] now let the games begin," Taylor captioned the post, also adding a smiling cat emoji and the hashtag #SwiftTok.

Swift is well-known for her online presence and interactions with fans, particularly on Tumblr, where she'd frequently chime in on posts about her or her music. She's also known for leaving breadcrumbs and hints at upcoming projects on social media. And, of course, she's more than willing to throw out jokes and memes about her own music.
