What is Twitter's new font?
The new font called Chirp was revealed in January, but was introduced globally on Thursday. “Chirp strikes the balance between messy and sharp to amplify the fun and irreverence of a Tweet, but can also carry the weight of seriousness when needed,” Twitter said in a blogpost. Madden 22 doesn’t officially release until August 20, but Early Access for this year’s game has kicked off today. If you’re interested in hitting the grid iron a little early, there are two ways to start playing.
The first is through EA Play. Subscribing to EA’s video game membership grants you early access to Madden 22 on August 12.
The early access period through EA Play is more like a 10-hour trial, but the full game is available to you during it. As it’s a trial, your access to Madden 22 will expire after the ten hours and you’ll have to purchase it if you wish to continue playing. But you will save 10% on your pre-order. Additionally, you’ll get monthly Ultimate Team Pack rewards and a Launch Welcome Pack as well.
The other option is pre-ordering either the Madden NFL 22 MVP Edition ($99.99) or the Madden NFL 22 Dynasty Edition ($119.99). Both of these versions offer early access starting on August 17, 2021, three days before the official launch of the game.
They also come with Dual Entitlement, the path for a free upgrade from the Xbox One or PS4 version to the Xbox Series X|S or PS5. They also come with all sorts of digital goodies, including Staff Points to upgrade your Franchise Staff, Ultimate Team packs and more. As a reminder, purchasing the Standard Edition of Madden 22 does not come with the Dual Entitlement offer, so you’d have to buy the full game again on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S if you wish to upgrade.
Unlike last year’s game, Madden 22 offers some exclusive gameplay enhancements for the next-gen versions. The most notable is Dynamic Gameday, three core features (Gameday Atmosphere, Gameday Momentum and Next Gen Stats: Star Driven AI) that improve the overall gameplay experience across every mode and offer a deeper level of strategy.

With an aim to redesign its website and app, micro-blogging site Twitter has announced that it is now rolling out its Chirp font to the Twitter app and feed.
The company detailed the Chirp font as one part of a broader brand refresh, unveiled in January, and now it said that it is ready to be used.
“Today, we released a few changes to the way Twitter looks on the web and on your phone. While it might feel weird at first, these updates make us more accessible, unique and focused on you and what you are talking about,” the company wrote on the platform on Wednesday.
“In January, we revealed our new font, Chirp — and it’s ready for you to use today,” it added.
The company mentioned that all Western-language text now aligns left, making it easier to read as you scroll. Non-Western languages remain unchanged.
This months, the micro-blogging site has shut down its Instagram Stories-like ‘Fleets’ feature. Fleets was disappearing tweets that sat in a row at the top of users’ Twitter handles on smartphones, which expired after 24 hours.
From August 3, the Twitter users would only see active Spaces which are live audio chat rooms at the top of their timelines, a previous report said.
During the time that Fleets was available full-fledged, the micro-blogging site had added multiple new features to it, including the possibility of adding GIFs, stickers, change the text colour and more.
