Ryan Gilbert's pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: K-State +6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"This is a must-win game for both squads. It could go either way, but six points is a comfortable line to cover for the Wildcats now that Skylar Thompson is back."

Ryan Gilbert's pick of the week: Purdue +11.5 @ Iowa

Purdue against the spread this season: 2-3

Iowa against the spread this season: 5-1

"Iowa had no business beating Penn State last week until the Nittany Lions lost their starting QB. I'm sensing a hangover from the Hawkeyes after a big W."

Tim Fitzgerald's pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: Iowa State -6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"This is a big game for both teams but I don't see how K-State's struggling defense can keep Iowa State's offensive weapons in check. It will be close but the Cyclones will claim a win by a touchdown or more."

Tim Fitzgerald's pick of the week: Arizona State PK @ Utah

Arizona State against the spread this season: 3-3

Utah against the spread this season: 1-4

"This line has moved a bit on this one but Arizona State is probably best of the worst in the Pac-12 South and this is a needed win for the Sun Devils."

Ryan Wallace's pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: K-State +6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"This game is such a coin flip for me. Iowa State feels like the better team in every sense but a night game in Manhattan with the Wildcats coming off a bye gives every outside advantage to K-State. History says this one should be competitive and close, so I’ll take the Wildcats to cover 6. Just don’t ask me who wins."

Ryan Wallace's pick of the week: Tennessee +2.5 vs. Ole Miss

Ole Miss against the spread this season: 2-2-1

Tennessee against the spread this season: 3-3

"I like Tennessee at home to beat Ole Miss despite the Rebels being 2.5-point favorites. The atmosphere should be electric in Knoxville and we know the Vols will put up points. Feels like Lane Kiffin’s squad is ripe for a letdown after a dramatic back and forth last week vs. Arkansas."

Michael Goens' pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: K-State +6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"The Wildcats have got to get it figured out on defense, and here’s expecting they do just enough for the offense to keep pace with Iowa State. A game in the high-20s or low-30s means it’s tight, just like the OU game on Oct. 2."

Michael Goens' pick of the week: Kentucky +23 @ Georgia

Kentucky against the spread this season: 5-1

Georgia against the spread this season: 5-1

This is what the SEC has become? A pair of unbeatens where the favorite is a 23-point favorite? Kentucky can put enough together that it’s a 42-21-type of game, just like UK won a week ago against Louisiana State. The Cats hang tough at Athens against a Bulldog squad that hasn’t quite figured out how to bring top-level play each and every week."

Riley Gates' pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: Iowa State -6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"I do not think K-State will cover +6. I saw too many areas of concern on defense in the last two games to feel good about shutting Iowa state down. I also pegged K-State to lose this game before the season started and haven’t seen anything either way to change my mind."

Riley Gates' pick of the week: Alabama -16.5 @ Mississippi State

Alabama against the spread this season: 3-3

Mississippi State against the spread this season: 2-3

"Alabama -16.5 seems like a big number but this is the week you can expect to see it. Fresh off of a loss and putting their college football playoff hopes in jeopardy, the Crimson Tide are going to want revenge and Mississippi State is the perfect punching bag."

Cole Carmody's pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: K-State +6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"K-State +6 at home feels like a slap in the face for the Wildcats to me. Have they proven to be a great team? Surely not. But with one of the hardest schedules in the country, they have found a way to be in every single game they have been in. I’m picking them to win this game, but even if they don’t, I think they’ll cover. There’s just too much motivation on the K-State side for them not to have a strong showing."

Cole Carmody's pick of the week: Arkansas -4.5 vs. Auburn

Auburn against the spread this season: 3-3

Arkansas against the spread this season: 5-1

"Look, Arkansas is good, folks. They could very easily be 5-1 if they convert the 2 point try at the end of the game last weekend, yet they are only 4.5 point home favorites over Auburn. Bo Nix is a good quarterback, sure. But, the Tigers are overrated. Give me the Hogs in this SEC matchup. Wooooo Pig."

Zac Carlson's pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: K-State +6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"This feels like a tipping point game for both teams. The Wildcats are coming off two games against tough opponents while the Cyclones are about to climb a mountain of tough Big 12 foes. The Cats are motivated, and I think they get it done on Saturday.”

Zac Carlson's pick of the week: TCU +13.5 @ Oklahoma

TCU against the spread this season: 1-3-1

Oklahoma against the spread this season: 2-4

“This has been a weird week for Oklahoma. Caleb Williams was reported to be taking reps with the first team at practice, and shortly after the report Lincoln Riley canceled media availabilities for the rest of the week. The Sooners seem flustered and this is a distraction that I believe the Horned Frogs will capitalize on.”

Dan Kuester's pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: K-State +6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

"Two well-coached teams coming off bye weeks should make for an interesting game. I think the betting public is underestimating the 'Cats here as I think the offense continues to make strides and given the injury concerns on the team, the bye week came at an opportune time. So I will take the 'Cats here but I should mention this is NOT a game I would go out of my way to pick. The statistics Iowa State put up in both the Baylor game and the Iowa game do give me cause for concern that they could really put things together and win by a couple of scores. But I am going to focus on the fact that ISU found a way to lose those games despite statistically dominating both games."

Dan Kuester's pick of the week: Nevada -14.5 vs. Hawaii

Hawaii against the spread this season: 3-3

Nevada against the spread this season: 3-2

“I should mention, folks that know me know I watch Missouri football passionately (I'm an alum) and Fitz and Ryan invited me to do this anyway. I can't understand how the Tigers are only nine-point underdogs vs. Texas A&M no matter who suits up at QB for the Aggies. But I've learned over the years when something looks this obvious, sometimes it's best to pick a different game so I am taking Nevada -14.5 at home against Hawaii. One reason I am taking K-State this week is because the 'Cats performance overall this season is better than the casual college football fan realizes. I was fairly impressed with Nevada watching them in person and I expect Carson Strong to really have his way with the Hawaii defense. Also, Hawaii has more variance than most teams depending on whether they are playing at home or on the road for obvious reasons. This is a chance to "sell high" on Hawaii coming off the upset win over Fresno State largely thanks to four interceptions. I don't usually like to give up this many points but I expect this pick to resemble my great Utah pick from last week and hopefully be an easy winner."

GoPowercat Wabash Station's pick for K-State vs. Iowa State: K-State +6

Iowa State against the spread this season: 2-3

K-State against the spread this season: 3-2

Ryan Gilbert's pick for TCU @ Oklahoma: TCU +13.5

TCU against the spread this season: 1-3-1

Oklahoma against the spread this season: 2-4

"There are too many distractions revolving around the Oklahoma football program for me to feel comfortable placing my money on the Sooners."

Ryan Gilbert's pick for BYU @ Baylor: BYU +6.5

BYU against the spread this season: 3-3

Baylor against the spread this season: 4-2

"This line has moved a whole touchdown in favor of the Bears, which means bettors are getting enormous value on BYU. Even if there wasn't a drastic line change, I'd still like the Cougars given how important this game is to them."

Ryan Gilbert's pick for Oklahoma State @ Texas: Texas -5.5

Oklahoma State against the spread this season: 3-2

Texas against the spread this season: 4-2

"Oklahoma State is lucky to be undefeated through six weeks. In Week 7, its luck runs out."

---

Ryan Gilbert's pick for TCU @ Texas Tech: Texas Tech -16.5

Texas Tech against the spread this season: 3-3

Kansas the spread this season: 0-5

"Kansas has yet to cover a spread this season and it has given bettors zero reason to think that will chance anytime soon."
