While walking the red carpet at the Regal Theater in Los Angeles on July 12, the 24-year-old actress rocked a Moschino suit inspired by her character Lola Bunny. From sporting the Tune Squad's team colors to wearing a face mask embellished with a sparkly basketball, Zendaya went all out for the big night.
"Mask courtesy of my mama," she wrote on Instagram Stories.
And while the Emmy winner noted she didn't "have the ears" Lola has, she thought a "ponytail is close enough."
Zendaya was styled by Law Roach and Jeremy Scott, who both agreed the ensemble was a win. As Roach wrote on Instagram, "Tell me you're Lola Bunny without telling me you're Lola Bunny...."
"There's obviously a sense of pressure because she is such an iconic character," she told Victor Cruz. "You know, we've all grown up with her. I know I was literally born the year this [original] movie came out. And I come from a basketball family."
The Euphoria star also weighed in on Lola's new look for the sequel, with director Malcolm D. Lee telling Entertainment Weekly Lola "was very sexualized" in the first movie and that he wanted her to be "feminine without being objectified" in this film.
"She's a team member, MVP. She's gotta be suited right, you know? She's gotta be taken care of," Zendaya added. "More probably realistic to actually hoop in, you know? She has these beautiful characteristics. She's smart and capable, a natural leader."

On Monday evening, the 36-year-old NBA player attended the West Coast opening of his upcoming film at the Regal LA Live & 4DX theater with the women of his family.
Seen smiling on the red (well, purple) carpet during the event, LeBron was joined by his wife, Savannah James, and the pair's daughter, Zhuri Nova. The couple also share sons LeBron "Bronny" James Jr. and Bryce Maximus James.
For the big night out, the Los Angeles Lakers great sported a fitted navy suit with a matching dress shirt, tie and black dress shoes. Savannah, meanwhile, stunned in a neon green dress with heels of the same hue, while Zhuri wore an adorable light blue floral ensemble.
In Space Jam: A New Legacy, LeBron's onscreen son Dom's tech skills get him and the athlete sucked into an entertainment server by a CGI humanoid, who wants to steal some of LeBron's social media followers. To escape from the virtual world in which they're trapped, LeBron gathers the Looney Tunes for a basketball game.
"It's one of the biggest games, if not the biggest game, I've ever played in," the athlete told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year. "The Goon Squad is probably the best team ever assembled in basketball history."
Space Jam: A New Legacy dribbles into theaters and onto HBO Max Friday.
‘LeBron James calling himself DILF messed me up’: NBA Fans mock Lakers star for calling Savannah James a...

If you’re confused about this, and genuinely wondering whether LeBron actually posted this, you can check out his Instagram story within the next 20ish hours or so before it disappears.
As of right now, LeBron is ready to premiere his movie ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’, and as a result, he’s on the set, taking pictures and hanging around other celebrities for the premier. He brought his family to the occasion too as his wife Savannah James and daughter Zhuri Nova were in attendance.
LeBron even caught up with some old teammates:

Savannah James posted this picture of her and LeBron as well, and that’s where all the controversy started
Perhaps LeBron James doesn’t know about these terms which is why he so very casually posted this on his Instagram, but for the rest of the NBA world, it was a little surprising to see to say the least.
NBA Fans couldn’t help but come after the King on social media, even questioning LeBron’s GOAT status after posting such a picture.
— Winston (@ayeWinston) July 13, 2021
Other fans were simply dumbfounded and LeBron’s story left them feeling a little more than just messed up in the head:
I’m not gonna lie… @KingJames calling himself DILF was one of the first things I saw on social media today and it kinda messed me up in the head… but like not in a bad way in a funny way if that makes sense. Savannah being a MI*F is a fact though no debate

Given LeBron’s stature in the league and character, it’s fair to say that the Lakers superstar had a lapse in judgement and maybe some misinformation on what those phrases actually mean because in no right world would LeBron James ever post something like this about his wife Savannah James if he truly knew what it meant.
After suffering consecutive losses against Nigeria and Australia, Team USA managed to win their third…

LeBron James and your favourite Looney Tunes heroes join forces for a family film adventure that’s out of this world. In association with Warner Bros.
In Space Jam: A New Legacy, basketball superstar LeBron James teams up with Bugs Bunny (yes, really) for a showdown to end all showdowns.
From Bugs and Daffy to Porky Pig and Tweety, all your family’s favourite Looney Tunes heroes are in the mix for this funny, fast-paced family mash-up of live action, 2D animation and spectacular 3D CGI effects.
LeBron James stars as a dad who is perhaps a little too keen for his son, Dom (Cedric Joe), to follow in his acclaimed basketball footsteps. Dom, it’s clear, would rather follow his own dream to design video games. The two argue and that’s when things get a little weird…
Father and son take an elevator but get off on the wrong floor and find themselves suddenly plunged into a virtual server-verse, trapped by a rogue AI who wants to prove to LeBron that tech is mightier than real life. Evil mastermind Al G. Rhythm (Don Cheadle) holds Dom hostage and LeBron must take on a digital squad of hotshot basketball heroes (the Goon Squad) and win a match to get his son back.
Who has LeBron got on his team? Er, how about a motley crew of cartoon characters?
This reimagining of the 1996 hit Space Jam offers an all-new film experience perfect for getting back out to the cinema with your family this summer.
You don’t have to be a basketball whizz to enjoy the wisecracking thrills and spills of classic Loony Tunes humour mixed with warm-hearted drama as one of the greatest sports stars of all time has to win the match of his life!
As well as LeBron James, expect to see a few other familiar faces. Along with Bugs Bunny, who could be persuaded to put down his carrot for a dribble or three, there’s blustery rooster Foghorn “I say…” Leghorn, who is so big he gives LeBron a run for his money.
Then there’s Lola Bunny, who brings her smarts to the game. And hapless Daffy Duck who brings the dafts. Add Speedy Gonzales, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Tasmanian Devil, Tweety and Sylvester the Cat, and you’ve got not just a squad, but your ultimate cartoon-lover’s dream team.
However, these animated legends certainly need to be good at basketball. They are up against the Goon Squad, which consists of digital professional basketball players with added superpowers.
Will dad save his son? Will their family be reunited? There’s everything to play for. No chance of a rematch or a reboot. You’ll be willing those cartoons on until the final whistle.
Space Jam: A New Legacy is directed by Malcolm D. Lee, who previously helmed numerous hits including Girls Trip. It has been put together with terrific attention to detail.
In the scene where LeBron is propelled into the digital universe, he hurtles past a collection of themed planets including Westeros, home of Game of Thrones; The Matrix; and The Wizard of Oz. And in the run-up to the big game there are lots of lovely in-jokes. Look closely at the crowds and you’ll spot countless familiar figures (space) jammed in, including Batman, The Flintstones, The Mask and many more.
This is truly a film with something in it for every family member, whatever their age. The pace never lets up as the action shuttles between real life and animation. We even get to see LeBron being “Tuneified” – turned into a cartoon character, which is not something you see on the big screen every day.
You certainly don’t need to be a basketball buff to enjoy this movie. Or know your alley-oop from your zone defence.
If you love cinema, you’ll be cock-a-hoop about Space Jam: A New Legacy.

Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach outdid themselves again. At last night's Space Jam: A New Legacy premiere, Zendaya stepped out on the red carpet, channeling the very character she voices in the film, Lola Bunny.
“He was like, ‘We're doing this new version of Space Jam and we're doing it with LeBron and we'd love for you to be our Lola. Kind of reimagine what the character represents, this new chapter of this film and who she is, and we'd love for you to be a part of it,’” she said. “And obviously I was honored to say the least. I kind of grew up with the film because both of my parents are basketball players... I think I was born the year it came out. I think I was a couple months old.” (The original Space Jam came out on November 15, 1996; Zendaya was born on September 1, 1996 and is now 24.)
